The emergence of every kind of physical activity is accompanied by the development of social productive forces.E-sports is with the continuous development of modern science and technology,sports and electronic information technology integration,it is the electronic game has reached a level of competitive activities.E-sports is an intellectual confrontation between people based on electronic equipment.E-sports can train people's reaction ability,hand-brain coordination ability and thinking ability,and cultivate people's fighting spirit and team spirit.On November 18,2003,China officially listed e-sports as the 99 th official sports item with the approval of the state sports bureau.In 2008,the general administration of sport of China changed the total number of sports to the 78 th official sports.Driven by the policy,thanks to the rise of the post-80 s,post-90 s and other young groups,e-sports has developed rapidly in recent years and initially formed a relatively complete e-sports industry chain,which contains huge economic value and sports value.As a sport,e-sports has obvious advantages in entertainment and appreciation,but it is different from traditional sports.At present,there are still many experts and scholars question its sports "identity";There are still misconceptions about e-sports among the public,and there are few studies on e-sports.China has gradually developed into a big country of e-sports.The participating population and industrial scale of e-sports in China are among the best,and the trend is increasing.Therefore,we should strengthen the scientific research of e-sports,find the development model suitable for China's national conditions,and ensure the sustainable development of e-sports in China.Based on the SWOT analysis method,this paper adopts the method of literature and logical analysis to systematically summarize and analyze the development situation,characteristics and external environment of e-sports in China.Through the research,it is found that China's e-sports are in a period of rapid development under the environment of rapid development of e-sports in the world under the promotion of relevant policies of China's government to support the development of e-sports.However,there are still many problems in the development of e-sports in China.Therefore,this study mainly discusses the advantages and opportunities of e-sports development in China,and finds its disadvantages and threats.On this basis,the SWOT matrix is constructed for matching analysis,and the following conclusions are obtained:1.Strength of China's e-sports development(S): Due to the non-difference in participation,e-sports in China provides participants with a broader platform for communication,so as to meet the different needs of sports and happiness in the fast-paced life of the public,and improve the enthusiasm of the public to participate in sports.2.Weakness of the development of e-sports in China(W):Because of its virtual participation mode and bad competitive environment,e-sports in China will lead tophysical injury and negative factors causing game addiction in the process of participation.3.Opportunities for the development of e-sports in China(O):with the support of the rapid development of national science and technology as well as the support of national policies,under the influence of the development of e-sports in the world,China's public began to change their understanding of e-sports.4.Threats to the development of e-sports in China(T):This also reflects that China's e-sports lack of relevant theoretical research and professional practitioners.Based on SWOT analysis,the following Suggestions are made for the development of e-sports in China:1.Improve the existing players and club system,and promote the professionalization and league of e-sports.2.Increase the positive publicity effect and realize the popularization of e-sports development.3.Improve relevant laws and regulations to make e-sports green and healthy.4.Focus on developing the market and related industries,and promote the diversification of e-sports.
