| The rise of women' s ideas of marriage rights in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Region is a microcosm of the women's liberation movement in modern time.Under the impetus of the Communist Party of China,the women's liberation in the border areas in 1930 s and 1940 s was surging.Women's liberation had raised women's political,economic and cultural status.It also had brought a new system of rights discourse.Among them,the rise of the idea of marriage rights is one of outstanding performances of women's liberation.Whereas the rise of ideas of marriages Rights in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia is complicated.The article consists of four parts.Chapter one discusses the background of the rise of women's ideas of marriage rights in the border areas.There are three reasons impelling the rise of the ideas of marriage rights,which are the women' s liberation movement in modern time,the spread of Marxism view on women and development of Anti-Japanese democracy model area.Whereas,with the pressure of Anti-Japanese War,the radical women's liberation was replaced by the theory of family harmony.Chapter two discusses the women' s idea of marriage rights in different spaces.In order to reveal the real marriage views of women,different characters and behavior strategies of women will be discussed by theory of space.Rural women play three characters which are wives,mothers and daughter-in-law.Their marriage views are simple and practical.Then it will discuss how the Yan'an city influence the identification of revolutionary women.Chapter three discusses the the ideas of marriage among different groups of women in the border areas.Rural women can choose their own marriage targets,which may be their desires and needs.With the development of women liberation,rural women's ideas of marriage rights rises gradually.For revolutionary women,the war factor forced them to ban their bodies and limit their desires to become glorious celibates.In addition,the young women represented by Liu Qian' s understanding of marriage are idealized,this tentative idea of marriage induces the murder.Chapter four analyzes the practice of marriage law in border area.The legislation ideology of marriage law turns from practicing the principle of equality between men and women and freedom of marriage to stabilizing the society in border area.The main problems in the practice of marriage law are high divorce rate,protection of marriage between a serviceman and a civilian,identification of betrothal gifts.It is failed to achieve the marriagerights completely in border area.The marriage rights which meet the requirement of women and Anti-Japanese War could be spread better.The conclusion asses the significance of rise of marriage right in the border area briefly,and analyzes the influence of practice of marriage law in the border area on the formulation of the marriage law in 1950. |
