A Study On Social Work Intervention In Community-Based Mental Disabilities

In the institutional context,mental patients returning to the community rehabilitation and reintegration is the trend,community mental health social work is increasingly valued by the Government and the community.Starting from 2011,the Guangzhou Municipal Government began buying social work services,attempts in the community for persons with disabilities(including mental illness)provides free social work services,how to play the role of social work,promote mental patients into society is an important research topic today.Under the influence of traditional perspectives,thought to be incapable of mental patients.Starting from the perspectives of workers easier to focus on issues of mental illness,diagnosis and treatment for them,figuring out what to do to help the mentally ill out of these problems.Social workers did not see potential in them,may actually reinforce their sense of frustration,or "incompetent" is not conducive to their integration into society.In this case,using a new perspective as a guide in psychiatric patients is very important.Advantages view as a new point of view very well to make up for the problems brought about by the problem perspective.From the perspective of advantages,the social worker will focus more on the mental patients ' strengths and potential capacity and in line with Community principles of respect and equality,to believe in the case,met the essential attributes of social work to promote social equity and justice.Therefore,the strength perspective as our inevitable choice for social workers involved in mental patients into the community.Finally,the author draws up the social intervention model of community-based obstacle-based people,which emphasizes to evaluate the advantages and obstacles of the obstacle as the prerequisite,take the intervention-oriented,take the principle of intervention as the value lead,Strategy as a guideline to assess the effectiveness of the test results.
