The New Study Into Archives Resources Construction Of University Celebrities

As a complete record of the activities,celebrity archives not only reflect the historical activities which have created by celebrities,but also reveal the school history and social environment which the celebrities have experienced.The celebrity archives are the spiritual and cultural wealth of the school and the country.Since the beginning of 1984,celebrity archives had been established,which made certain achievements in the scale of construction and system construction.However,after in-depth research and analysis,I find that many problems still exist.These problems mainly reflect that the construction process is not standardized,and the content is not perfect.Project management as a scientific and standardized management method,has formed a complete system of knowledge.Since the resource construction of celebrity archives in line with the general properties of the project,the current status of the construction fell into some troubles,it is possible to introduce project management methods into the process of university celebrity archives.Firstly,this paper illustrates the background,defines related concepts and discusses the theoretical basis of celebrity archival resources such as celebrity fonds,thematic archives and project management.Secondly,this paper analyzes the current situation of the celebrity archives resources construction in China,and summaries the achievements and shortcomings.Thus this paper introduces the project management methods into archival resources construction on university's celebrities and analyzes its' feasibility and necessity.Based on the above studies,this paper uses project management method to build a three-dimensional structural model of resource construction of celebrity archives.One dimension orients management processes that are managed according to the five stages of the project life cycle;the second dimension is management-oriented content that is managed according to the nine areas of project management functions;the third dimension orients management objects that are managed according to the different categories of university celebrities.The three-dimensional structure covers the main aspects of archives construction of university celebrities thus guaranteeing achieving the ultimate goal.The fourth part of this article is to optimize the process management of university celebrity archives resources construction,from resources construction starting,resources construction planning,resource collection and sorting to resource construction monitoring and ending.The fifth part of this article is to perfect the management content of celebrity archives resources construction in colleges and universities,from the core management field,assist management field to the overall management.Finally through the above discussing,this paper provides a new method and idea of celebrity archives resources construction in colleges and universities,resolves the dilemma and promotes the long-term development of celebrity archives resources.
