In this study,386 senior three students from two senior high schools in Qiubei County,Yunnan Province,were investigated on the relationship between general self-efficacy,coping style and test anxiety.The data were collected by using the General Self-efficacy Scale,Test Anxiety Scale and Simple Coping Style Scale and were analyzed by descriptive statistics,variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis with SPSS22.0 software to understand the general self-efficacy,coping style and examination anxiety of senior three students in border minority areas,and to explore the characteristics and interrelationship among them.The purpose of this study is to understand the psychological status of senior three students in border minority areas in their study and life,and to promote their mental health.Besides,this study will provide theoretical basis and empirical research data to help them pass the third stage of senior high school smoothly and achieve excellent results in college entrance examination.The results of this study are as follows:The average score of test anxiety of senior three students in Qiubei County is17.899,the standard deviation is 8.857,the highest score of test anxiety is 36,and the lowest score is 5.Generally speaking,the test anxiety belongs to the medium level.Examinations have a greater impact on students,and the anxiety phenomenon is very common.At the same time,facing the same pressure of college entrance examination,students have great individual differences.There are students who are extremely anxious,but there are also students who are in a stable mood and basically do not feel anxious.2.The average self-efficacy of senior three students in Qiubei County is 2.3383.This shows that the overall confidence of senior three students in Qiubei County in their abilities is not enough.3.The total score of positive coping style of senior three students in Qiubei County is 19.92,with an average of 1.66;the total score of negative coping style is11.679,with an average of 1.46.When facing difficulties,students tend to adopt positive coping style.4.There are significant gender differences in test anxiety,general self-efficacy and coping styles among senior three students in Qiubei County.Girls' test anxiety is significantly higher than boys';boys' general self-efficacy is significantly higher than girls';boys' scores in adopting positive coping styles are significantly higher than girls';girls' scores in negative coping styles are significantly higher than boys'.5.There are significant differences in general self-efficacy,coping style and test anxiety among different nationalities of senior three students in Qiubei County.In terms of test anxiety,the Han nationality is significantly higher than other nationalities;in terms of general self-efficacy,the Han nationality is significantly lower than other nationalities;in terms of positive coping style,the Han nationality is significantly lower than other nationalities;in terms of negative coping style,the Han nationality is significantly higher than other nationalities.6.The general self-efficacy of the students with excellent and good grades is significantly lower than that of the students with average and poor grades;the positive coping style of the students with excellent and good grades is significantlylower than that of the students with average and poor grades;the negative coping style of the students with excellent and good grades is significantly higher than that of the students with average and poor grades;and the test anxiety of the students with excellent and good grades is significantly higher than that of the students with average and poor grades.Significantly higher than the average,poor students.7.The general self-efficacy and coping style of senior three students in Qiubei County have a significant impact on their test anxiety.Specifically,general self-efficacy has a significant negative impact on test anxiety;positive coping style has a significant negative impact on test anxiety;negative coping style has a significant positive impact on test anxiety.8.There is a significant correlation between general self-efficacy and coping styles of senior three students in minority areas,and they influence each other.Specifically,there is a positive correlation between general self-efficacy and positive coping style,and a negative correlation between general self-efficacy and negative coping style.9.In the validity test of regression equation,the determinant coefficient R square= 0.422,which indicates that general self-efficacy and coping style have only 42.2%influence on test anxiety,and test anxiety may be affected by many other factors.Finally,according to the research on the general self-efficacy,coping style and test anxiety of senior three students in frontier minority areas,this study puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.
