When persons above a certain size gather together and perform the non-organized collective actions, cluster behaviors emerge as a result.Traditional theory of social psychology viewed cluster behaviors as the mass disturbances, the theorists made the inference that only on the condition of interest conflicts of inter-groups,could the cluster behaviors happen, such as parades, demonstrations, riots, and so on.However, with the development of network technology and business economy, theorists started to get some new discoveries about the cluster behaviors. The appearances of network cluster behaviors demonstrate that two of non-interest-conflict groups situated in different time and space can use internet to cluster according to the same targets or hobbies. The interest conflicts of inter-groups are not the ultimate reason for the occurrence of cluster behaviors, and the members in one group get profit do not necessarily mean the members in the other group get lost.According to the theory of social identity,as non-organized collective actions, the forms of cluster behaviors in itself are powerful enough to push people to gather together.Through group memberships people can obtain self-identifications,improve self-images and sustain self-esteems.The function of group identities will initiate scattered individuals into a crowd without any interest conflict and enhance the cohesion of the crowd spontaneously. The non-organized feature of cluster behaviors indicates that cluster behaviors are spontaneous and non-institutional while star-chasing behaviors are also spontaneous and non-institutional,star-chasing behaviors fit the main properties of cluster behaviors. However, the concept of star-chasing behaviors is still different from cluster behaviors.Compare to cluster groups,star-chasing groups have the feature of potential cluster and emotional explosiveness.Star-chasing behaviors not only contain personal behaviors, but also include cluster behaviors.Personal behaviors are distinguished with cluster behaviors but personal behaviors have thetrend to develop into cluster behaviors.According to inter-group emotional theory, cluster behavior will form when the emotions of star-chasing groups break out.The outbursts of collective emotions make star-chasing individuals inflected, and incur star-chasing persons to cluster spontaneously, participating in activities relative to favorite stars.Thus,star-chasing behaviors belong to a special kind of cluster behaviors. The study aims at finding out the probability of occurrence of cluster behaviors on star-chasing groups and relative factors which can influence the collective process. The study can be divided into two stages.Stage one adopt the methods of text-analysis and structural interview, using crawler program to obtain 12,260 pieces comments on blogs, separating the comments into experimental and control group based on the sources of comments.Judging if there is difference of language style existing between experimental and control group so as to certify star-chasing group's cluster performance on linguistic behaviors. At the meantime, stage one uses structural interview and total-probability measure program paradigm to testify if star-chasing groups produce other cluster behaviors in their daily lives and find out the likelihood of emergence of cluster behaviors.Stage two adopt model construction, analogue simulation and structural interview to find out the factors which affect the occurrence of cluster behaviors, and testify the effect of signal space.Stage two aims at figuring out the inner mechanism which plays a role on hampering the viral spread of information cascade and cluster behaviors through signal constraint model and random walks program.Verifying the mechanism which is deducted from signal constraint model and random walks program by structural interview and total-probability measure program paradigm. The conclusions this paper gets as following:(1)The star-chasing group has similar language style, and distinguishes themself with other groups,star-chasing group can produce cluster behaviors at least on linguistic behaviors, and the probability of occurrence of cluster behaviors is above random level.(2)Information cascade model explains how cluster behaviors constantly occur when there is a different number of various signals existing in the signaling network. However, signal constraint model as a reverse mechanism reveals that the viral spread of information cascade can be hampered when people have preference for private signal.(3)Signal constraint model only establish when individual can make autonomous decision based on his preferred signal. The model prove the likelihood in the non-sequence context that individuals can not only inhibit the interference of unbiased signals, but also take unbiased signals as evidence to support the biased signal, and make decision only on the basis of biased signal to obstruct the infinite spread of information cascade and cluster behaviors.(4)When signals are inhibited,a certain size of signal space can prompt persistence of individuals' own decisions.
