China is a large agricultural country with a large rural population base.Rural preschool education has always been a weak link in the field of preschool education in China.The development of preschool education in rural areas has been plagued by many problems,such as the low rate of admission,the weak strength of teachers,the poor conditions for running schools,and the outflow of children.C Township of Yangquan City is an ordinary town in the midland.The development of preschool education is also facing many problems.This research takes C Township of Yangquan City as the breakthrough point,based on the theory of public management,and adopts the method of field investigation.Through questionnaires,interviews and documentation,starting from the government,kindergartens,society and other aspects,this paper aims to explore the predicament and causes of rural preschool education development,and on this basis,puts forward targeted policy recommendations.This study is mainly divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,pointing out the importance and background of the relevant research;the second part is the basic theory,mainly to explain some related theories;the third part is the status quo,reflecting the status quo of rural preschool children education in C Township of Yangquan City through field research and visits;the fourth part is the analysis of the reasons,aiming at the current reality of C Township;the fifth part is related countermeasures,that is to put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the current situation,in order to solve the current rural related preschool education problems,and ensure the sustainable and healthy development of rural children’s preschool education.Nowadays,with the prominence of the importance of rural preschool education,many experts and scholars have studied it,but most of them focus on special rural areas.The author chooses ordinary township as the research object,through field research,analyses the predicament and causes of preschool education development,and puts forward some suggestions,such as perfecting laws and regulations,building a service-oriented government,standardizing kindergarten management and mobilizing social forces,which have practical significance for the development of preschool education for ordinary rural children.
