| Located in the southeastern part of Europe,Moldova is one of the few European countries along the Belt and Road,the number of students studying Chinese has increased rapidly in the past two years.Among them,children learner enjoys a vast majority of 61%,however,some classes have lost their students,it wields little influence.This paper focus on 7-to 12-year-old beginners in Moldova and investigates the current situation of Chinese teaching in Moldova through methods of experiment,interviews and observation,the author has found the following problems: first,the teaching principles are not prominent;second,the teaching objectives are unclear and the teaching lacks direction;Third,the teaching content is not targeted;Finally,the teaching methods are unattractive.Reflecting these problems and analyzing the teaching practice,it is concluded that the key to teaching Chinese to 7-to 12-year-old beginners in Moldova is the principle of interest,based on which,the author redesigns the objectives,content and methods from the perspective of classroom teaching.As for the teaching goal,it is important for children to develop interest in Chinese in order to generate internal learning motivation.For teaching content,teachers should select the content that is closely related to daily life according to children’s interest,so that students can feel the joy of “learning to use”.In terms of teaching methods,the author has chosen four methods based on practical teaching experience,including teaching through games,total physical response,heuristic teaching and motivation method,combining the high artistic characteristics and acceptance habits of Moldovan children to activate the atmosphere in Chinese classroom and stimulate students’ interest in learning.Finally,based on teaching cases,feedbacks and analysis of teaching effects,practical suggestions and new ideas are given on teaching Chinese to Children in Moldova. |
