In 2011,the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China formulated the standards for compulsory educational art curriculum,and divided the art curriculum into two categories: Creation Course and Appreciation Course.Creation Course is divided into two fields: the "Styling and Performance" learning field and the "Design and Application" learning field.Almost all the manual creation courses are embodied in these two fields.The compulsory education stage refers to the primary and secondary school stage.According to the students' physical and mental development,it is divided into four learning stages: the first learning stage for 1-2 grades,the second learning stage for 3-4 grades,the third learning stage for grades 5-6,and the fourth learning stage for 7-9 grades.In the field of the "Styling and Performance" and the "Design and Application",the higher their grades are,the more professional and richer their creating techniques and learning activities are.However,the proportion of the course is declining.The author has been engaged in art education and teaching for10 years,living and working in Huozhai Primary School in Taigemu Town,Tumd Left Banner,Hohhot,Inner Mongolia.In the years of teaching and practice observations,the author realizes that primary and secondary school students are more enthusiastic about manual creation class than painting class.Observing the curriculum arrangement of the compulsory education stage of the Tumd Left Banner,the writer find out that the manual creation class is separated from the painting class for 1-6 grades.The art classes are almost all taught by professional art teachers,while the manual creation class is taught by other teachers who graduated in other majors,which has become a phenomena in the region of the author.However,the manual creation class is included in the art curriculum in the stage of 7-9 grades.From the art textbooks of primary and secondary school,it can be seen thatthe overall proportion of manual creation classes is relatively higher in primary school and lower in secondary school.Therefore,in order to supplement the proportion of manual creation courses,many schools or art teachers in Tumd Left Banner develop school-based textbooks and curriculum,according to the interests of the students,but the overall situation is weaker compared with urban areas or big cities such as Beijing.It is because of the parents' low cognition and the complicated preparation for the materials of the manual creation class.According to the local manual creation class of primary and secondary schools in local counties,based on many years of teaching practice,the theory of primary and secondary education and educational psychology and a large amount of literature,the author explored the content of actual manual creation courses in line with local art education after interviewing the relatively successful experienced teachers in the field of manual creation,and conducting questionnaire surveys on students.Based on the local resources,the expansion of creative applications and manual creation courses,and provides theoretical support and practical reference for manual creation class in local primary and secondary schools.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter explains the relationship between manual creation course and materials.The second chapter introduces the position of the manual creation course in the art curriculum in primary and secondary schools,and even analyzes them as well.The third chapter expounds the necessity of the expansion of the manual creation course in the primary and middle schools in counties,and the strategies to be followed,and the practical teaching used for environmental resources.Also the author puts forward the teaching measures for curriculum development and the corresponding solutions.
