With the advent of the era of knowledge economy,innovation has become a key move for countries to enhance their competitiveness and rank among the world's powers.At present,China faces major tasks,such as the transformation of economic development mode,the optimization of industrial structure,the construction of a national innovation system and so on.These all require the support of a large number of innovative talents.Vocational education is an important part of China's education system,shouldering the historical mission of cultivating a large number of skilled and innovative talents.Knowing the status quo of the creativity of secondary vocational students,that is,answering "how the creativity of secondary vocational students is" and "what characteristics do the creativity of secondary vocational students have" is conducive to providing empirical data support for the cultivation of creativity and enhancing the pertinence of innovative talent training.Therefore,this study draws on the general theoretical research on creativity in the field of psychology,and constructs the analytical framework of this research.That is to say,the creativity performance of the secondary vocational students is fully presented from the three dimensions of the creative process,the creative product,and the mental structure of creativity.This paper uses a case study method to track the jewellery creation process of students in a secondary vocational class,and comprehensively adopts various data collection methods such as oral report,observation,interview,work analysis and so on.Then this paper describes the psychological and behavioral performance of the secondary vocational students,analyzes the thinking stage and characteristics,evaluates the products generated through the creative process,and analyzes the psychological structure characteristics of the creativity of the secondary vocational students according to the creative process and product.This paper introduces the research on "creative process" and "creative product" from the perspective of research,and adopts the qualitative research paradigm in research methods,which is a great innovation,compared with the existing researches which usually adopt the measurement methods to investigate the creative personality of students.The study found that the creation of secondary vocational students mainly includes three paths: intuitive creation,imitative creation and original creation.The level of thinking of these three creations increases from simple to complex.From the product perspective,the overall situation of the creativity of secondary vocational students is at a medium level and has a large room for improvement.The novelty score of the creative products is lower than the technical and aesthetic,and the innovation degree of products depends on the students' novel and appropriate definition of the different elements of the jewelry.The structures of the creativity of the secondary vocational students,namely knowledge,thinking,personality and motivation,all show unique characteristics,which affect the output of creative products.Based on the research findings,this paper further proposes measures to cultivate the creativity of secondary vocational students.
