Autism spectrum disorder(ASD),also known as autism,is a type of neurodevelopmental disorder that occurs in early childhood and manifests itself as behavioral,linguistic,and social interaction disorders.The emergence of children with autism has brought a heavy economic burden on families.At the same time,children's developmental obstacles and parenting problems have also brought great psychological pressure on the parents of autism children who are the main care providers.How features affect parenting stress and coping styles is a focus of attention in the field of parenting research for autistic children.This study investigated the parenting stress,coping style,and self-efficacy of parents of 88 autistic children in a rehabilitation center in Hangzhou through a questionnaire survey.Using the "Parenting Stress Index-Short Form","Simple Coping Style Scale",and "General Self-efficacy Scale" as research tools,using descriptive statistics,independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA,correlation analysis in SPSS17.0 And regression analysis and other methods for data processing and analysis.Get the following results:1.Whether a child is only child,parental gender,age,culture,work status and family monthly income have a significant impact on parenting stress,coping style and self-efficacy of autistic children.2.There is a significant correlation between parents of parenting stress and coping styles in autistic children.There is a significant negative correlation between parenting stress and positive coping styles,and there is a significant positive correlation between parenting stress and negative coping styles.There is a significantnegative correlation between parenting stress and self-efficacy in autistic children.There was a significant correlation between parental coping style and self-efficacy in autistic children.There was a significant positive correlation between positive coping style and self-efficacy.There was a significant negative correlation between negative coping style and self-efficacy.3.The negative coping styles of parents of autistic children have a significant positive predictive effect on parenting stress.The positive coping styles of parents of autistic children have a negative predictive effect on parenting stress.Self-efficacy has a positive predictive effect on positive coping styles,and self-efficacy has a negative predictive effect on negative coping styles.Self-efficacy has a negative predictive effect on parenting stress.The results suggest that intervention is necessary for parents of children with autism.
