| In recent years,colleges and universities pay more attention to the improvement of undergraduate education quality,have carried out undergraduate teaching reform.Among them,the implementation of the major-changing institution of undergraduate students has been a major bright spot in the current undergraduate teaching reform.The reform of the major-changing institution has been accelerated by the reform of the flexible teaching management system such as the full credit system.The situation of “major-changing is harder than scaling the blue sky” is no longer exist,major-changing gradually from the earlier students’ individual demands into the current daily teaching management in colleges and universities in a routine institutionalized work.However,the current major-changing institution in our country can effectively correct the institutional defects which are reflected in the matching of the current college entrance examination system,and provide a new possibility for us to think about the overall optimization of the teaching management system in colleges and universities.In the broader sense,the current major-changing institution in our country is generally subject to various interests,and the reform process is faltering.It can be seen that it is of great practical significance to understand and explore the practice status and predicament of the major-changing institution under the current development trend.First of all,this paper takes the undergraduate students’ major-changing value and the realistic logic as the research entry point,and the core values that exist behind the major-changing institution are the guarantee of students’ freedom of study and the promotion of students’ all-round development.At the same time,the reality of the major-changing institution It is necessary to analyze.The study argues that the professional system not only protects the legitimate rights and interests of the students as the educated consumers,but also provides a new perspective for the reform of the innovative talents training mode.Secondly,this study explores the organization and management system of the undergraduate students’ major-changing institution from three aspects: the organizational structure of decision-making organization,the mode of allocation of rights and responsibilities and the mode of practice execution,which is based on the major-changing institution of university undergraduates,and according to the general practice experience,The specific implementation mechanism of the undergraduate students’ major-changing institution is divided into three stages: the number control and the qualification limit,the examination application and the organization evaluation,the admission and the teaching management coordination.Thirdly,on the basis of deeply analyzing the current situation of the undergraduates’ major-changing institution,this paper explores the practical dilemma of the major-changing institution by means of investigation and research.It is found that there are many restrictions on the current major-changing institution.Lack of enthusiasm and the institutional constraints of the three aspects of teaching resources,leading to the reasons for the above difficulties mainly from the dislocation of students and cognitive bias and school professional imbalance and poor support.Finally,this paper uses the comparative research method to interpret the major choice and guarantee mechanism of the undergraduates in British universities.At the same time,it chooses the UCL as a research object to analyze the practical experience of the major-changing institution,On the basis of the national conditions of higher education,from the perspective of the implementation of the institutional environment and operational mechanism of the major-changing institution of innovation to the idea of countermeasures. |
