Higher education is a key area for cultivating high-quality personnel.Quality is the lifeline of higher education and how the key goal of our higher education reform is to safeguard improve the quality of education.Traditional methods of evaluating the quality of higher education pay too much attention to standards such as academic papers,library collections,equipment,etc.However,they fail to focus on whether colleges and universities can set effective mechanisms to ensure that school resources are reasonably and fully utilized by students.Student Engagement,the analysis of the learning process of university students from the perspective of student experience has gradually become the new standard to measure the important observation index of effective learning activities and evaluate the quality of higher education.The elite education in colleges and universities in our country gradually changes to mass education with the increase of enrollment,so the limited teacher resources in colleges and universities have been further diluted.How to make the best use of university faculty to improve the quality of education has become an important research topic in the development of higher education in our country.Based on the interaction between students and teachers in colleges and universities,this study empirically analyzes the relationship between college students' perceived teacher support,autonomous motivation and student engagement from the perspective of college students' experience.First of all,we have sorted out the concepts,classification and measurement tools of teachers 'support,autonomous motivation and students engagement,and mastered the content and development direction of self-determination theory and student engagement theory.Secondly,we set up teachers with autonomous motivation as the mediating variable Support,autonomous motivation and structural equation modeling among students and put forward corresponding research hypothesis.Thirdly,using descriptive statistical analysis,variance analysis and mediating utility analysis of measurement data by using statistical software AMOS and SPSS,authenticating.Finally,based on the empirical research,this paper draws a conclusion and puts forward suggestions on how to play the role of teacher and improve the quality of higher education.Through the exploration of the mechanism of teacher support on student engagement,the following conclusions are drawn from the results of the empirical analysis:(1)The teacher support,autonomous motivation and student engagementperceived by college students are in the upper middle level,emotional support,informational support is higher than instrumental support and appraisal support;(2)There is a significant gender difference in teacher support,female support is higher than male support;there are significant grade differences in student engagement,and undergraduate student engagement is higher than that of master and master;(3)College students perceived a significant positive correlation between emotional support from teachers,instrumental support,information support,appraisal support and autonomous motivation of students entering college;(4)College students perceived emotional support,instrumental support,informational support,appraisal support from teachers and autonomous motivation of students entering university to study can positively predict the level of student engagement.(5)Autonomous motivation of students to enter colleges and universities in the fields of teacher's emotional support,instrumental support,informational support and appraisal support.The impact of support on student engagement is all part of it.Autonomous motivation is more mediated by the influence of emotional support and information support on student engagement.
