Mathematics homework is an important component of mathematics course and one of the key factors in realizing curriculum objectives.It is an intermediate link between course implementation and course evaluation and something that most teachers and students get access to everyday.It is not only a major way for students to strengthen and expand their knowledge,cultivate and improve their ability and develop a good learning habit,but also an important feedback channel through which teachers are able to discover and address problems and adjust their teaching behaviors accordingly.Homework is a key andindispensable part in curriculum reform and “the familiar stranger” in educational activities.The paper targets at the efficiency improvement of mathematics homework in primary schools and intends to explore the implementable and effective way to improve the efficiency of mathematics homework in primary schools.Discover problems through the investigation and research of present mathematics homework condition in primary schools,try some now methods in the design,allotment,correction,explanation and other elements of homework,and establish a kind of efficient homework in which students’ mathematics knowledge and capacity are improved greatly and their learning habit,practical application ability,feeling,attitude and value are developed.The paper starts from the interpretation of “efficiency” and “homework efficiency”,elaborates the meaning of homework efficiency and discusses the six characters of efficient homework,i.e.clear homework purpose,efficient homework content,homework autonomy,open homework format,homework achievement feeling and artistic experience of homework.In order to ensure the scientific nature of efficient mathematics homework in primary school,the paper refers to advanced educational theories and conducts questionnaire investigation from the six aspects of homework effect,homework quality,homework completion condition,homework correction condition,homework statistic explanation condition and parent participation condition on the basis of multiple intelligence theory,effective teaching theory,“learning by doing theory” and constructive theory.It discovers that someproblems such as dissatisfactory homework effect,casual homework design and allotment,simple and rough homework correction,etc.On the basis of the aforesaid theories and problems,the author proposes the following suggestions from the aspects of homework design,homework allotment,homework correction,homework explanation and counseling.During homework design,teaches shall be guided by scientific homework concept,balance homework amount according to learning cycle and try to make homework contents adaptable to life,variable in category and autonomic in homework right.Homework allotment shall be clear,suitable and progressive.Homework correction shall display the dual interaction between the correction subjects and overcome the problem of simplification;correction contents shall be multiple,correction standard shall be individualized,correction method shall be innovative and correction signs shall be varied.Moreover,homework explanation shall be conducted timely;help students construct a“scaffold”to solve problems,highlight the dominant position of students and realize mutual evaluation with students.
