Abstract/Summary:
The development history of cheerleading in China has been nearly 20 years,and the further development of cheerleading in my country has been concerned by scholars from all walks of life.In 2006,the ministry of education proposed to the whole country that cheerleading should be promoted in all schools.Bringing cheerleading into schools is an important measure to promote the sustainable development of cheerleading in China.With the efforts of government departments and scholars from all walks of life,cheerleading is being carried out in schools of our country in full swing.Research on the present situation of cheerleading in campus in our country,it’s good for the government and the school master’s to clear about the development extent of the cheerleading,and know the factors affecting the development of the cheerleading movement in our country’s campus,so as to provide a reference for other regions to better promote the cheerleading movement in campus,and lay a good foundation for the further development of the cheerleading movement in our country.The research object of this paper is the current situation of the cheerleading movement in Guangzhou middle schools.The research object is 24 cheerleading teachers and 580 students from 12 middle schools in Guangzhou.Through the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,expert interview and mathematical statistics,this paper conducts a comprehensive and in-depth investigation and analysis of the current situation of cheerleading in Guangzhou middle schools,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.The survey results are as follows:(1)The overall development trend of cheerleading in Guangzhou middle school is good,with stable development and high popularity among students;The development forms and promotion channels are diversified,mostly in the form of school teams and associations.Most of them are long-term schools,but the duration is short.(2)The coaches are younger in age,and the proportion of male and female coaches is unbalanced,with the majority being female;The coaching years are short and the leading experience is lack;High education,high professional title,the professional class of the coach is less,teachers are weak.(3)The gender ratio of the team members is unbalanced,with the majority of female team members;Students have a general understanding of and love for cheerleading.They have a wide range of channels and sources of knowledge.The frequency of students participating in exercise was general,and the motivation of participation varied greatly.(4)The training content of cheerleading in Guangzhou middle school is diversified andthe training effect is significant;Pregame training methods vary greatly,with long-term regular training in the majority;The training ground and hardware facilities basically meet the teaching needs.(5)The school cheerleading teams have fewer opportunities to participate in the competition,and the competition level is lower,mainly concentrated in the municipal and district competitions;The funds of each school are mainly from the school grants,but the reward system is not uniform.
