The problem of "overwork" first broke out in Japan,and the problem of overwork has crossed the national boundaries in the process of globalization,and has been continuously concerned and deeply studied by various countries.With the economy is making more progress and the competition for talents is more intense,most of the labourers' physical and mental pressure has exceeded the normal load.In the long term,the physical and mental health of the labourers is bound to be damaged,and people who are often overtired are chasing death.Since the 21 st century,Chinese colleges and universities have promoted the985 and 211 Project,as well as the "double-first-class" construction work initiated.The competition between colleges and universities is becoming more and more intense,and the requirements for the comprehensive quality of university teachers are also becoming higher and higher..The phenomenon of "occupational overwork" of Chinese university teachers has spread and intensified,and college teachers have developed into a typical population of "occupational overworked".The health issue of teachers in colleges and universities need to be paid more attention to.Based on the literature analysis,this paper forms a scientific understanding of the problem of "overwork",and through in-depth interviews to understand the current situation of work of teachers in colleges and universities,and draws lessons from Japan's self-Diagnostic questionnaire on Labor fatigue accumulation,and the self-diagnostic questionnaire of laborer fatigue accumulation degree from Japan is used for reference to develop and establish a highly operational and easy-to-implement evaluation scale of "occupational overwork" for teachers in Colleges and Universities based on perception perspective.Through questionnaire survey,274 "occupational overwork" data of teachers in East China Jiaotong University,Nanchang University,Jiangxi Normal University,Technology Normal University and Jiangxi Science and Nanchang Hangkong University were collected.Using SPSS19.0 to conduct descriptive statistical analysis of collected data,this paper discusses the gender distribution,age distribution,academic background distribution and professional title distribution of university teachers,evaluates the degree of "occupational overwork" by measuring fatigue perception and work pressure.And the variance analysis method is used to study the differences in the degree of "occupational overwork" in terms of gender,age,professional title,length of work,and so on,and the degree of "occupational overwork" among different groups were analyzed in depth.A structural equation model based on AMOS21.0 is used to analyze the quantitative relationship among the causes,states and results of occupational overwork.According to the research,nearly half of the teachers in colleges and universities are overworked,and there are significant differences in the degree of "occupational overwork" in terms of academic qualifications,professional titles and years of teaching;Work values have a direct positive effect on job burnout,the influence of evaluation on fatigue perception is greater than that on work stress,fatigue perception is the most important factor leading to job burnout,and the key factor affecting the quality of life is evaluation and assessment.Based on the results of the study,it is suggested that both preventive measures and remedial measures should be carried out in order to cope with the problem of "occupational overwork" when giving full play to the strength of the state,universities and teachers.Teachers in colleges and universities should set up reasonable professional goals,strengthen the ability of emotion regulation,improve the ability of time management to promote the efficiency of scientific research,and pay attention to regular life and strengthen physical exercise.Colleges and universities can pay attention to the individual differences of teachers and establish diversified career development channels,refer to the establishment of OTA platform to help overworked teachers in time,and the state can give priority to bringing "overworked death" into industrial injury insurance and so on.
