| At present,in the course of implementing the fundamental task of “character building”,school education in China attaches great importance to Chinese traditional cultural resources.In 2017,the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China issued the Art Curriculum Standard of General Senior High Schools based on key competencies,which increased the teaching proportion of China’s excellent traditional art culture in the curriculum of art appreciation.As the mother art that nurtures Chinese traditional culture and art,folk art carries the cultural root of China’s rich history,and presents gorgeous artistic forms and great craft wisdom.Learning and appreciating folk art can not only enhance the cultural confidence of junior high school students in China,but it could also deepen the development of their core artistic competencies.Therefore,it is necessary and important for folk art to become a part of the art appreciation curriculum of senior high schools in China.In this era when all countries in the world are carrying out in-depth discussions on Key Competencies,it is a question worthy of discussion as to how senior high school art teachers in China could change the teaching concept and improve teaching methods so as to promote the curriculum reform,give full play to the values of school education in carrying forth and developing Chinese folk art as well as promoting the development of students’ Key Competencies through the unique cultural and artistic charms of folk art.Based on the literature research on relevant theories of Key Competencies,this thesis discusses the unique educational values of folk art resources in the art appreciation curriculum of senior high schools by approaches including investigation and survey,teaching observation,curriculum development and teaching practices.Based on the carrier of lesson-based cases,this paper explores effective teaching methods of folk art appreciation in senior high schools from the perspectives of setting teaching objectives,selecting teaching contents,applying teaching strategiesand implementing teaching assessment so as to give a better play to the important values of folk art resources in the development of Key Competencies of senior high school students. |
