In recent years,with the continuous development of China-Thailand relations,especially the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the "One Belt,One Road" initiative,China and Thailand have strengthened their economic,trade,diplomatic,political and cultural exchanges.In the series of cooperation,the relevant education departments in Thailand also use Chinese as a second language,so the Chinese language is becoming more and more important in Thailand.The school where the author is internship is a church school in Bangkok,Thailand,with elementary school,junior high school and high school.However,the Chinese language teaching guidance of the church school was only opened in 2012,and it is lagging behind in Chinese teaching.This paper analyzes the Chinese teaching situation in St.Gabriel School in Thailand.Firstly,it analyzes the Chinese teaching situation of the school from the situation of Chinese teaching teachers in St.Gabriel School,Chinese textbooks,curriculum setting and the situation of Chinese class students..After that,the author summarizes the problems in the Chinese teaching of primary school students in St.Gabriel School in Thailand,and summarizes the questions from the students themselves,Chinese teachers and schools.Finally,the relevant countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.The suggestions for students' Chinese learning include:actively learning Chinese;overcoming communication barriers and improving Chinese learning confidence;expanding their Chinese circle of friends,actively participating in Chinese cultural activities;and developing good Chinese learning habits.Suggestions for teachers: improve their own teaching level;change teaching methods;rationally arrange coursework,make full use of teaching facilities;enrich teachers' assessment methods.Suggestions for the school are: enrich the textbook series;take the initiative to help connect with the language partners;arrange the class time reasonably and reasonably carry out the course setting;enrich the Chinese cultural activities.
