Research On Unemployment Among Graduates From Higher Education In Tunisia | | Posted on:2020-01-11 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:S D T h e b t i M a s s o | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2417330590473828 | Subject:Public Management | | Abstract/Summary: | | | Tunisia has experienced rapid growth in recent decades and has developed many Tunisian reforms and investments,but these reforms have not covered all sectors such as education and employment,as third-cycle in Tunisia are increasingly confronted with unemployment.29.3% of all Tunisians with higher education were unemployed in 2018 compared to 15.5% of total unemployment in the community.The aim of this study was to determine the importance of the higher education system which influences unemployment among graduates in Tunisia.The variables consist of the LMD system,the use of services and the education background also the job mismatch,skills skill and the highest qualification,graduation year,type of academic variables for this study.Respondents were 200 in partial unemployment and employers and students in Tunisia.The results showed that the LMD higher education system has an influence on unemployment among graduates in Tunisia.All variables show a negative impact on unemployment among graduates.This study refers to primary data through questionnaires and secondary data from the National Statistical Institute to support the sampling technique.During this time,the researcher uses the questionnaire as a method to collect all the data from the sample respondents by accomplishing the research objectives.While the data from this study were analysed using SPSS: the mean value of the empirical analysis and the regression of the study are descriptive statistics obtained,validity,reliability,and correlation analysis.The result and test of the research hypotheses of the study presented in this research agree that higher system education;and employment services and the type of University have influenced unemployment among graduates.This study can be considered as a foreword to a more detailed study to be carried out by future research on the issue of unemployment among graduates in Tunisia. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Higher education system, unemployment, graduates, Tunisia | | Related items |
