A Study On The Morality Outlook Of Contemporary College Students

Since the reform and opening up,with the transformation of society,people's morality outlook are also changing.The morality outlook of the public,especially the young students,are becoming more and more diverse,and the phenomenon of morality behavior anomie is widespread.Traditional morality outlook are widely questioned and challenged.Morality is the basis for the realization of social moral norms and the aspiration and pursuit of good morality of social citizens as the main body of personality.Therefore,the study of College Students' morality outlook has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,philosophical speculation and empirical research methods are used to discuss the problem of morality outlook and the present situation of morality outlook of contemporary college students.On the basis of systematically combing the previous research results,this paper defines the concepts of moral character and morality outlook,differentiates and analyses the differences and connections between moral character and moral and moral virtue,and then explores the mainstream morality outlook in the history of Chinese and Western ethics,and the basic dimensions of morality research,so as to draw a conclusion that the construction of morality outlook should clarify the core virtue and attach importance to them.It is concluded that we should cultivate individual morality consciousness and dig deeply into the resources of Chinese and Western ethical thoughts.This paper explores the virtues that contemporary college students should possess in the construction of their morality outlook from the two aspects of moral character and core virtues.It holds that morality should include two value dimensions: private morality(towards self)and public morality(towards others).The core morality should be justice,benevolence,honesty,responsibility and shame.The above conclusions are drawn through the morality database screening and theoretical demonstration.Based on morality database and core morality,this paper analyses the current situation of College Students' morality outlook on the basis of putting forward hypotheses,designing scales and carrying out actual measurement.The basic conclusion is that the current situation of College Students' morality outlook cognition is generally good,but there are also obvious problems,which are manifested in the following aspects: imbalance in different value dimensions;the quality of different subjects.The development level of morality outlook is different,and the development of morality outlook and morality behavior is not synchronous.Empirical research also proves that morality outlook has a positive impact on morality behavior;the recognition of moral outlook cultivation in Colleges and universities is inadequate,and the morality outlook of college students is different because of the differences in the level of moral education in schools.The conclusion of the empirical study has certain reference and reference significance for how to cultivate the morality outlook of College students.Therefore,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions.The main points are as follows: starting from defining the principles of moral values and cultivating moral rationality,strengthening morality outlook and cultivating morality thinking;respecting differences according to different morality subjects and layering emphasis on morality development;innovating teaching methods based on data construction and invisible moral education classes to enhance the effectiveness of morality education.
