In China,the concept of life-oriented teaching in basic education has a long history and it is becoming increasingly common to explore and practice the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes.This article selects Yongfeng High School,which has made certain achievements on one aspect,as the object to be investigated.The findings of the investigation are that many geography teachers are still faced with a lot of confusion in their life-oriented teaching and it is also a problem for them to develop the geography curriculum resources.The main obstacles to enhance the quality of teaching are that the level and the ability to design and implement the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes are inadequate and students are less motivated to participate in the class teaching.Accordingly,this article will come up with some strategies to improve the quality of the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes.First of all,it is a prerequisite for teachers to update their concepts of teaching;In addition,it is necessary for teachers and students to develop the life-oriented geography curriculum resources together.What's more,to improve teachers' abilities of designing and implementing the life-oriented teaching is necessary.Finally,the relevant departments are supposed to reform and improve the teaching management mechanism.This article also establishes a set of four-dimensional standards of “fitness,degree of support,validity,and satisfaction” to measure life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes,forming a design method oriented by geography teaching problem based on the four elements of “focus,emphasis,difficulty and highlight”.This article includes the following five parts:Part I:Introduction.This part mainly expounds the background why the topic is selected and the significance of the research.Besides,the author sorts out the related literatures at home and abroad.Part? The investigation and the implementation of the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes.This part plays an important role in this article,which analyzes the present situation of the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes in the form of questionnaires and interviews under the background of the new college entrance examination reform,new curriculum standards,and the major education policies and tasks of the 19 th National Congress.Through investigation,it has been found that the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes is becoming increasingly common,but there are still some problems in practice.Part ? The strategies of the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classesThis part is the core content of the paper.According to the investigation of the current situation,the author tries her best to put forward some strategies that are applicable for the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes under the guidance of relevant theories and principles.Part IV The design and the implementation of teaching casesIn order to continuously optimize the strategies and promote the implementation of the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes,the article takes book one of the high school geography as an example,selecting a representative chapter to be designed and put into class teaching.Therefore,some feedback from the class teaching can improve the teaching effects the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes.Part V Summary and Reflection.Through experimental comparison,the author analyzed the effectiveness of the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes and reflected combining the feedback from the teacher and students in the class and post-class.
