A Study On The Present Situation And Strategies Of Life-oriented Teaching In High School Geography Classes

In China,the concept of life-oriented teaching in basic education has a long history and it is becoming increasingly common to explore and practice the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes.This article selects Yongfeng High School,which has made certain achievements on one aspect,as the object to be investigated.The findings of the investigation are that many geography teachers are still faced with a lot of confusion in their life-oriented teaching and it is also a problem for them to develop the geography curriculum resources.The main obstacles to enhance the quality of teaching are that the level and the ability to design and implement the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes are inadequate and students are less motivated to participate in the class teaching.Accordingly,this article will come up with some strategies to improve the quality of the life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes.First of all,it is a prerequisite for teachers to update their concepts of teaching;In addition,it is necessary for teachers and students to develop the life-oriented geography curriculum resources together.What's more,to improve teachers' abilities of designing and implementing the life-oriented teaching is necessary.Finally,the relevant departments are supposed to reform and improve the teaching management mechanism.This article also establishes a set of four-dimensional standards of “fitness,degree of support,validity,and satisfaction” to measure life-oriented teaching in high school geography classes,forming a design method oriented by geography teaching problem based on the four elements of “focus,emphasis,difficulty and highlight”.This article includes the following five parts:Part I:Introduction.This part mainly expounds the background why the topic is selected and the significance of the research.Besides,the author sorts out the related literatures at home and abroad.Part?
