Cooperation preference is the stable tendency of individuals to choose a group with certain characteristics for cooperation.Previous studies have shown that individuals have geographical cooperation preference, but mainly from the perspective of ascribed geography, and pay more attention to the cooperation preference of the fellow-townsman.The acquired geography is the interpersonal relationship that the individual has left his hometown and established with the local residents in the place of immigration. The formation of acquired geographical cooperation preference after the formation of individuals is conducive to better integration into the new environment and promote the development of local towns. Therefore, the study 1 explores the existence of acquired geographical cooperation preference after the individual. In the process of living in the place of immigration,in addition to non-geographical groups, there will be a group of ascribed geography.Study 2 explores which individual’s ascribed geographical cooperation preference and acquired geographical cooperation preference are more advantageous. In order to help individuals better adapt to life in the place of immigration, enhance the acquired geographical cooperation preference.Study 3 explores the influencing factors of geographical cooperation preference.Because the society advocates cooperation, the non-cooperation attitude is difficult to reflect on the explicit level. Therefore, this study uses the implicit association test to measure the individual,s geographical cooperation preference on the implicit level.Study 1 took Zhejiang University students studying in Jiangsu as subjects and measured the degree of connection between "acquired geography/non-geography" and"cooperation/non-eooperation".The results validate the acquired geographical cooperation preference after the existence of the individual, that is,the individual is more inclined to cooperate with the acquired geographical group than the non-geographical group.Study 2 took Zhejiang University students studying in Jiangsu as subjects and measured the degree of connection between "acquired geography/ascribed geography"and "cooperation/non-cooperation".The results verify that the individual has the first preference for ascribed geographical cooperation preference, that is,in the case where the two geographical groups coexist, the individual is more inclined to cooperate with the ascribed geopolitical group.Relationship utility is the utility of another person for the attainment of personal goal through social interactions. The high acquired geographical relationship utility can bring more benefits to individuals, and thus promote mutual cooperation through mutual reciprocity, which may be one of the factors affecting the geographical cooperation preference.Study 3 took Zhejiang University students who were studying in Jiangsu as subjects, and randomly assigned them to the high acquired geographical relationship utility group, the low acquired geographical relationship utility group and the control group, using different story materials to start and measure the the degree of connection between"acquired geography/non-geography" and "cooperation/non-cooperation","acquired geography/ascribed geography" and "cooperation/non-cooperation".The results verified that the acquired geographical relationship utility initiation affected the geographical cooperation preference. The low acquired geographical relationship utility can reduce the individuars acquired geographical cooperation preference;the high acquired geographical relationship utility can weaken the advantage of the ascribed geographical cooperation preference. Finally, this study combines social identity theory and reciprocity theory to explain and discuss the research results, puts forward the theoretical and practical significance of the research, reflects on the shortcomings in the research, and points out the future research direction. |
