Altruistic helping behavior refers to the act of giving up self-interest,taking the initiative to use physical,psychological and other forms of assistance to help the needy out of their plight.3-4-year-old children will be more likely than 7-8-year-old children to help them get out of their plight.Even less willing to give their own interests to help others,that is,to act more selfish.Therefore,the cultivation of children's altruistic helping behavior is of great significance for individual moral development and social adaptation.The reading of helping people's thematic picture books can arouse emotional resonance between young children and the protagonists in the story,enhance their helping consciousness and promote the formation of their helping behavior.The traditional idea is that personification picture book can accord with the emotional experience of children,and it is easier to realize the effect of education.However,in recent years,studies abroad have shown that anthropomorphic animal picture books are difficult to give full play to the educational value and educational effect.Based on the theme of " altruistic helping behavior",this study explores the effects of storybooks with human characters and storybooks with anthropomorphized animal characters on the development of children's altruistic helping behavior by means of experiments.The experimental design of this study was a single factor three-level experiment design.1763-6-year-old children from a kindergarten in Tianjin were randomly divided into character picture book group(reading storybooks with human characters).Anthropomorphic animal picture book group(reading storybooks with anthropomorphized animal characters)and neutral picture book group(reading non-helping subject picture book)to carry out three groups of picture book reading activities.The results show that the character picture book is superior to the anthropomorphic animal picture book in improving children's altruistic helping behavior.According to the results of the study,some suggestions are put forward as follows:first,to read the picture books of characters to promote the development of children's personality,second,to dialectically view the differences in educational functions of different types of picture books,and to promote the development of children's personality.Third,strengthen the empirical study of the educational effects of two kinds of picture books;fourth,increase the design and publication of picture books close to the reality.
