Educational management is an interdisciplinary subject with strong applicability.It has developed for more than one hundred years.Study and arrange the literature of education management in our country,found that for a long time Chinese scholars with the introduction of the education management research methods are mostly study and draw lessons from western experience and research methods,its originality and systematic study of education management research methods,there are some drawbacks in related department attention degree is not enough,objectively has also been affected.Therefore,the non-standard research method has become a bottleneck restricting the improvement of the quality of educational management research in China.This paper reviews the development of research methods in educational management,verifies relevant theories in educational management,defines their core concepts,and fully expounds the uniqueness of the research method system in educational management.On this basis,set out to construct the educational management research method system.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is a review of the development of educational management research methods.This part mainly includes the development of educational management research methods and literature review.As a human social activity,the development and evolution of educational management research methods are not groundless.Reviewing the development history of the discipline of educational management,it is found that educational management has experienced the changes of "critical research paradigm","empirical research paradigm","humanistic understanding paradigm" and "multiple research paradigm".From the beginning of the 20 th century to the founding of new China,education management in China did not become a science.Its research mainly focused on the translation of foreigneducational management works,and its introduction was also influenced by the education system of N.A.Kaiipob,which was introduced in the education system.Until the reform and opening up,China's education management has entered the journey.In this paper through to the Chinese scholars in education management research methods for combing research achievements,on the basis of analyzing the existing results,combined with our country education management discipline development,research ideas and research methods used by,will our country reform and open policy about education management research methods research monographs and journal articles are divided into three stages: initial stage(1978-1986),developing stage(1986-1999),diversified stages(2000-present),and clarify the research methods used by each stage of the development status,characteristics and existing deficiencies.The second part is the uniqueness of theoretical analysis and research methods of educational management.This part includes defining core concepts and exploring the uniqueness of educational management research methods.The meanings of "method","methodology","method system","educational management research method" and "educational management research method" in the core concepts are defined and their applicable scope is explained.In the process of probing into the research method system of whether there is uniqueness in education management,this paper systematically sorts out the evolution of the research method of education management by citing Kuhn's "paradigm" and combining with the application of management theory in the field of education.And from the educational management science discipline nature,the research object,the research method theory level launches to the educational management science research method system existence unique demonstration.The second part is the core content of this paper,and also provides the theoretical basis for the construction of the research method system of the third part.The third part is the construction of research method system of educational management.This part is the focus of this paper.The foregoing review of the development of research methods in educational management and the analysis of thetheoretical basis serve for the construction of the research method system.This part,based on the unique understanding of the nature of the discipline of education management and the research objects,and based on the in-depth investigation of the application and influence of research methods in the process of discipline formation,constructs the research method system of education management.This paper holds that the research method system of educational management consists of three parts:the upper philosophical methodology,the middle general scientific methodology and the lower educational management research method.Among them,philosophical methodology includes marxist philosophy and western philosophy(scientism philosophy and humanism philosophy),and marxist philosophy plays a leading role;General scientific methodology mainly includes natural science(systematic method,mathematical method)and humanities and social science(sociology,psychology and other methods);Education management research methods mainly include the female subject education science and management science research methods,education management,formed its own development of "natural melting penetration" research paradigm,method of education management discipline construction and education management specific research methods(basic operation method,method of quantification,auxiliary method),and from the education management,the meaning of specific methods and application are described in details.
