The new "Ordinary High School Biology Curriculum Standards",officially promulgated in 2017,pointed out that the purpose of the high school biology curriculum is to cultivate the core literacy of the biology department consisting of students' life concepts,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility.The use of mathematical methods to solve biological problems can cultivate students' creativity,the rigor of logical thinking,and the ability to analyze problems and solve problems.Therefore,it would be helpful to improve students' scientific literacy required in the new curriculum standard through the activities of mathematical model construction in teaching.The construction of mathematical models should be paid attention to new lessons,review lessons,and problem-solving courses.However,the author has found that there were few cases of the construction of mathematical models in review lessons through researching on related literatures,whilemost cases in the new lesson.The author believes that the review lesson is not a retelling of knowledge.To have a good review lesson,teachers also need to use a variety of teaching methods flexibly,integrate and deepen knowledge effectively,understand the way of logical thinking of teaching materials,and promote students' enthusiasm of learning.,So these are the key contents of this study to investigate the application of mathematical models by teachers and students in the review lesson and to carry out related instructional design and effective classroom teaching.Questionnaire survey,literature analysis,educational practice were used in this study.First,using of the various paper resources of HowNet and the library,I made a theoretical review,such as the concept of model and model teaching;the concept,classification and construction of mathematical model;the related psychology and pedagogy theory;the status of domestic and foreign related researches,which lays a theoretical foundation.Second,the research on the status quo of mathematical model construction in the biology review lessons of high school was carried out,and the student questionnaire and teacher questionnaire were designed and conducted respectively..Questionnaire analysis showed that students are currently interested in building mathematical models,but it is more difficult for them to complete model analysis and construction independently.On the one hand,because the mathematical model has higher requirements for students' innovative thinking and logic,on the other hand,the teacher's ability of the model teaching needs to be improved.The third,the model construction was applicated in biological review lesson,such as screening the content suitable for the teaching of mathematical models,teaching design and teaching practice.The teaching practice was divided into the control group and the experimental group.The independent variable is whether or not to carry on review lesson teaching in the way of mathematical model construction,and control the irrelevant variables.Before and after the one-month teaching practice,the students' academic performance,interest in biology class and self-confidence were statistically analyzed to test the validity of the model construction teaching.Through the research,we can draw the following conclusions:the application of the mathematical model in the review lesson can significantly improve the students'academic performance;can improve students' interest and self-confidence;can promote deep learning;can improve students' scientific thinking.In a word,mathematical model is very important in recitation teaching and should be paid attention to and actively used by front-line teachers.At the end of the thesis,combined with questionnaire survey and teaching practice,this paper puts forward some tentative suggestions for the application of mathematical model in the review class.It is hoped that this study has certain guiding significance for the teaching of high school biology and the review of college entrance examination.
