We need to transfer from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture.Of course, this transformation requires the positive development of many elements, among which the elements of human beings should be undoubtedly placed in a key position. At present,a group of traditional farmers, middle and higher education graduates, science and technology personnel, veterans and other active participants join in the new vocational peasants. There are many problems for them to become the new vocational peasants, such as the characteristics and cultural level and market awareness.Learning is a key way to improve their professional knowledge, skills and attitudes. Therefore, this study tries to show the problems of learning from traditional farmers to the new vocational peasants, based on the qualitative research methodology and the narrative research. It selects 3 samples(ZAW,LDL,ZGY)as the research case to reveal their learning strategies about learning preferences and choosing reasons and learning disabilities in the process of transformation.By expanding the learning strategy, the research could built a learning support system for transferring the traditional farmers into the new vocational peasants.According to the analysis of the interview, there are some findings as follows. The first is about the traditional farmers' learning strategic preferences in the transition process. The findings show that the learning strategic preference can be divided into 4 parts: the selection of career based on the original knowledge and the near transfer learning;to imitate others' behavior and obtain the imitating learning of relevant knowledge;the spiral-up experience learning in the past;the reflective Learning for realizing the new knowledge, defects and inadequacies. The second is the reason of the traditional farmers' learning strategic preference in the transformation process of new vocational peasants. It is related to some characteristics of traditional farmers: the experience of traditional farmers can be effectively transferred to new occupations;the traditional farmers are more conservative, making them more inclined to imitate learning;with the low degree ofeducation of traditional farmers, they are willing to promote their learning by experience;it is difficult for traditional farmers to obtain external resources effectively,so they solve problems by self-reflection and intelligence. The third is the obstacle of traditional farmers' learning in the transformation process of new occupational farmers. The findings show that traditional farmers' learning in the transition process is not always effective. There are so many obstacles:the insufficient funds lead to the little learning opportunity;the supply and demand barrier between teaching and learning leads to the lack of the actual available demands;the lack of information acquisition ability means without external support. What's more,it is difficult to select valuable knowledge effectively, they do not acquire much knowledge.Because of the limitation of thinking,it is difficult to develop the innovation ability.According to the findings, the relevant learning strategies and support systems are as follows. The first is to expand the content of learning for avoiding the obstacles caused by the near transfer learning. The second is to learn to imitate and innovate. The third is to access to experience reasonably, broadening the source of experience. The fourth is to act effectively in reflection.Meanwhile, the relevant learning support system should be constructed to provide relevant learning opportunities for the transformation of traditional farmers, which is mainly including: to build a financial support system and provide adequate learning opportunities;to improve the vocational training system and provide matching learning content;to expand the knowledge transfer method for providing the appropriate knowledge discourse;to strengthen identity guidance for breaking the traditional thinking shackles;to create well-informed ways for providing them with timely external information.
