Nowadays,with the development of science and technology around the world and the development of economy and military,and at the same time put forward higher requirements for the quality of education,people have turned their attention to education and hope that better education will cultivate a higher level.Talents,many countries and regions around the world have deepened reforms in the new era to improve students’ sense of innovation and practical ability,and reformed curriculum standards and teaching materials.The reform of mathematics education in China has undergone a great transformation from the model of copying the Soviet Union to the nine-year compulsory education.Since the end of the 1990 s,China has also launched a new round of curriculum reform,and in 2011 launched a new mathematics curriculum standards,People’s Education Publishing House issued a new mathematics textbook in 2012 according to the new mathematics curriculum standards.-"Compulsory Education Textbooks ·Mathematics(2012 Edition)",has been used for several years now.This article will use the Chinese People’s Education Publishing House "Compulsory Education Textbooks · Mathematics(2012 Edition)"(grades 7-9)textbooks and Canadian BC junior high school mathematics MHR textbooks as comparative objects for comparative research,in the full use of the latest available literature After repeated comparisons,the following research was carried out: Firstly,from the perspective of text,the chapter setting of the two textbooks was compared,and the content setting of the textbook,the text structure system,the author’s writing characteristics,and the picture and layout design were macroscopic.Secondly,further research and comparison of the contents of the two textbooks in the three sections "Number and Algebra","Graphics and Geometry","Statistics and Probability",from the introduction of concepts,the representation and presentation of definitions The problem solving process,the problem solving method and the integration of mathematics history summarize the common features and their respective characteristics of the two textbooks.Finally,based on the above conclusions,combined with the current situation of the new curriculum reform in China,Some suggestions:(1)Write the new curriculum standard into the textbook,and trulyachieve the curriculum standard and teaching(2)Improve the design of the example to enhance the learning effect;(3)Strengthen the proportion of the combination of mathematical knowledge and information technology in the textbook;(4)Teaching should make the teaching material closer to the actual life;(5)Teaching should not neglect the textbook.Explore the functions of the "Extracurricular Reading" column.
