Mathematical culture is a hot topic in mathematics education research. At present, both sides of the strait are carrying out a new round of mathematics teaching reform, all of which emphasize the importance of integrating mathematics culture into mathematics curriculum in the course objectives. The study of teaching materials has always been an important field of educational research. At the same time, both sides of the strait have put forward the guidelines for the compilation of textbooks of"one class and many books".Many publishing houses across the Taiwan Strait are actively writing new textbooks and collecting opinions and materials extensively,in.Therefore, this paper makes a comparative study of the published cross-strait representative textbooks from the perspective of mathematics culture. It can not only understand the current situation of integrating mathematics culture into mathematics textbooks in Taiwan, but also provide some suggestions for the compilation of cross-strait textbooks. This research mainly uses literature research method, content analysis method, comparative research method and case study method. The problems to be solved are:(1)What are the similarities and differences in the content distribution of mathematics culture in the two editions of mathematics textbooks?(2)What are the similarities and differences between the columns of mathematics culture in the two editions of mathematics textbooks?(3)What are the similarities and differences between the two forms of mathematics textbooks?(4)What are the similarities and differences in the use of mathematical culture in the two editions of mathematics textbooks?(5)What are the implications for the two editions of textbooks? This study takes into account the macroscopic and microscopic perspectives, combines quantitative research and qualitative research, and compares Chinese mainland people's A-level mathematics textbooks with Taiwan's Hanlin B-type mathematics textbooks. It mainly starts from the presentation and application level of the mathematics culture of the two editions of mathematics textbooks.Firstly, the knowledge fields of mathematics culture in the two editions of mathematics textbooks, the subject categories of mathematics culture, the distribution of mathematics culture, the expression of mathematics culture, the application of mathematics culture, etc.are statistically analyzed and quantified.Comparative analysis;then selected three cases from the public part of the two editions of the textbook, case analysis, and got the following conclusions:(1)in the total amount of mathematics culture, the number of people's education is much more than the Hanlin version;(2)the two editions of the textbook The distributions in the four types of mathematics culture are similar;(3)the distribution of the columns of mathematics culture, the columns of the two editions of the textbooks are very rich, but the distribution is quite different;(4)the expression of mathematical culture, two editions The distribution of textbooks is very similar;(5)The application of mathematics culture, the two editions of the textbooks have different ways of using mathematics history and other three types of mathematics culture, the level of application of both needs to be improved.Based on the conclusions drawn from the research, the following suggestions are made for the preparation of mathematics textbooks:(1)selecting various cultural materials to cross the ancient and modern Chinese and foreign situations;(2)distributing the content more evenly and showing the aesthetic value of mathematics;(3)The column setting is more scientific, showing the mathematics culture in multiple directions;(4)enhancing the effect of graphic and text, carefully composing the cultural style of the exhibition;(5)learning from each other and improving the overall application level;(6)paying attention to the frontier high-tech,reflecting the development of the times Features.
