The traditional middle school history teaching is to transfer knowledge by the way that the teacher talks while the students are listening.This kind of teaching mode takes the teacher as the center,puts the students in the passive position,and suppresses the initiative and creativity of students.There are many problems in carrying out quality-oriented education in this teaching mode.With the development of the quality-oriented education and the new curriculum reform,the teaching reform is changing rapidly,and this teaching mode must be reformed and perfected.How to understand the important position and function of history teaching in middle school,especially history teaching in middle school in the quality education,change the educational teaching idea,get rid of the fetter of the old traditional teaching mode,and make it adapt to the needs of the quality education as soon as possible.It has become an urgent task for the reform and development of history teaching in middle schools.At present,middle school history teachers in China are exploring new teaching methods,and want to change the traditional teaching mode.They pay more attention to embody the main role of students in teaching,and cultivate autonomous learning ability of students.Therefore,they gradually tend to design an open teaching situation and change from "full-fledged" to "guided" classroom teaching.The teaching method of autonomous learning adapts to the needs of life-long learning and educational reform in modern society.A set of feasible autonomous learning methods and strategies is very important.Based on the characteristics of high school history.and the psychological characteristics and cognitive level of senior high school students,this paper investigates and studies the students in four classes of two middle schools which are located in Kaifeng and Zhu Madian,based on the theory of recent development area,cognitive constructivism theory and other autonomous learning theories,this paper explores the basic strategies of history autonomous learning in senior high schools.These strategies are applied to classroom preparation,classroom teaching,after-class homework and club events to verify the effectiveness of these strategies in practice.
