Colleges and universities are the scientific pillar,moral conscience and cultural hope of human society,shouldering the important missions of talent cultivation,scientific research innovation and social service.The construction of teaching staff in colleges and universities affects the sustainable development and competitiveness of colleges and universities.The overseas talents as the backbone of the university's faculty,have a good international cultural background and international perspective,is the potential resources for the development of colleges and universities.The role of introducing and giving full play to the special group of overseas talents is an important way for colleges and universities to strengthen the construction of teaching staff,improve the level of running schools and enhance international competitiveness.This research draws on survey research method and case study method,taking J University's overseas talents as the research object,and focuses on exploring three issues: the current status of J University's overseas talent development;the influencing factors and the impact of overseas talent development;and the most significant factors affecting the development of overseas talent.The thesis is divided into five parts.First of all,the introduction part,this part mainly introduces the "overseas talent" related research,redefines the core concept.The second part is based on the journal articles consulted,referring to the more mature questionnaires of relevant scholars,combining the assessment practice of teachers in domestic universities and J universities,consulting professional teachers,designing two scales of the status quo and influencing factors of overseas talent development,and the status quo of development consists of five dimensions: teaching,scientific research,social service,honorary title and administration,it is influenced by many factors such as work environment,policy system,living treatment,work input and personal background.Through the project analysis,reliability and validity test,the unqualified items of the test questionnaire were processed,to form the finalquestionnaire.The third part takes the overseas talents introduced by J University as the research object,uses SPSS software statistics to analyze the data obtained from the actual investigation,the results show that: J University overseas talent development ability status as a whole is better;the development of J University's overseas talents is in the individual background factor variables.There are significant differences in the promotion time and title of demographic variables The regression data indicates that the input factors,popromotion time and professional title of statistical variablelicy system and working environment of the hypothetical influence factors have significant influence on the development of overseas talents,and the work input has the greatest impact.The fourth part is based on the research of scholars,and compares and analyzes the reality of the development capacity of overseas talents in J University and other colleges and universities.Finally,through the results of data analysis and comparative analysis,some optimization suggestions are put forward in order to help the introduction,training and use of talents in colleges and universities.First of all,colleges and universities should ensure that the goal of citation is correct,and optimize the working environment of overseas talents by perfecting personnel management system and attaching importance to humanistic spirit care.Secondly,overseas talents should strengthen their sense of subjective input in their work and strengthen their responsibility for colleges and universities.Finally,colleges and universities should make full use of overseas talents as a special and important group,business fine talent echelon,improve the teacher self-cultivation mechanism,cultivate first-class reserve teachers,at the same time,we should strengthen communication and integration between overseas talents and the original team,and jointly promote the discipline construction in colleges and universities.
