Research On Cultivation Of Rational Spirit Of College Students

The study of the rational spirit of college students in today's academic circles ignores the frontier problem of irrationalism.Thus,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the issue of cultivating the rational spirit of college students against the issue of irrationalism.The emergence and revival of irrationalism originated from certain social realities,and in theory it's manifested in such basic forms of Voluntarism,Intuitionism,Existentialism and Freudism.It strongly advocates the irrational existence of human desires,instincts,impulsiveness,intuition and subconsciousness,and dissolves the rational and social nature of human beings.It has great social harm and has many negative effects on contemporary college students in China.Therefore,it is necessary to use the Marxist view of rationality as a guide to construct the rational spirit of college students and put them into the practice of ideological and political education.The rational spirit of college students is a rational spiritual system composed of the inter-subjective spirit of freedom,the spirit of scientific truth-seeking,the spirit of hard work,the legal spirit of obeying the law,the rational patriotism and the moral spirit of benevolence and friendliness.It is based on socialism core values.Cultivating the rational spirit of college students is of great value for eliminating the harm of irrationalism,establishing socialist core values,building their own rational life and enhancing “four self-confidence”.The content structure of the rational spirit training of college students is guided by the Marxist rational view,inherits the rational view of China's excellent traditional culture and draws on the rational core of Western rationalism.The training path mainly includes four aspects: school education,family development,self-cultivation and social stimulation.
