Research On Characteristics About Chinese Taijiquan Books

By using the literature,mathematical statistics and logic analysis methods,taking the published Chinese Taijiquan books as the research object,under the history line,this paper follows the network database and the physical library to collect the collection of Taijiquan books.According to the collection,there are 65 books from the Republic of China,99 books from the founding of the People’s Republic of China to the reform and opening up,and 1348 books after the reform and opening up,and a total of 1512 Taijiquan books.According to the title,the author,the publishing time,the publishing unit,the first edition time and the reprinting times of each Taijiquan books,this paper aims to analyze the main features of the Chinese Taijiquan books published since the Republic of China.The main findings are as follows:1.From the early years of the Republic of China to the end of the Republic of China,the number of Taijiquan books experienced a trend from slow growth to large fluctuations to steady growth.A total of 65 books were published during the period,and there was the climax of book publishing in 1936.It was chaotic,social unrest during this period,book publishing was mainly concentrated in East of China,many intellectuals led the research direction and content of Taijiquan books.The research characteristics of books in this period are :the theory of Taijiquan tends to be mature,and the style of Taijiquan are preliminary formed;Fundamental traceability,combing the source of Taijiquan;influenced by Western sports,Taijiquan research starts with new innovation.2.Before the reform and opening up,the trend of Taijiquan books publication was roughly the same as that of the Republic of China.There were 102 books published during this time.The books were mainly published in Hong Kong and Taiwan.The fate of the researchers was influenced by the environment in which they lived and the times’ fate.The research characteristics of books are: the simplified-24-steps Taijiquan are popularized among people;the traditional Taijiquan routines are excavated and sorted out,the Taijiquan routines are more standardized;the Taijiquan competition routines are initially formed,theTaijiquan activities are more and more abundant.3.After the reform and opening up,the publication of Taijiquan books has been on the rise.There are 1348 books published during this time,and the Publishing climax began after 1996.Some high-yield publishing units are the driving force for the study of Taijiquan.The research areas of Taijiquan are more expanded.Scholar-type researchers have led the research direction.The research characteristics are: the conclusion and innovation of Taijiquan development;the research scope is wide,but the overall research is unbalanced : the traditional Taijiquan and Taijiquan competition develop synchronously,but the theory and technique research among different Taijiquan style is unbalanced;the health is the theme of the times,but there are few related research on it;there are more researches on Taijiquan skills,but less research Taijiquan history and culture.4.Since the Republic of China,the publication of Taijiquan books has shown a wave-like trend,and the publishing trend of is generally similar to the trend of the times.During the Republic of China,the Taijiquan theoretical system is basically formed,and some studies also lead the trend of the times.Before the reform and opening up,the area of Taijiquan research is expanded.After the reform and opening up,the Taijiquan movement develop in a comprehensive climax,and the area of Taijiquan research become more broad.
