Innovation is a great demand in the development of global education.The innovation behavior of students usually starts from the cultivation of innovative consciousness.Thus,innovation consciousness plays a crucial role in the center concept of the “students for base and the practice of creating”.Following the principle of “ for the transformation to teach”,with the theme of standard of innovation and applied mathematics to cultivate elementary students' innovative ideology has far-reaching significance.“Graphics and geometry” is a very important part of mathematics teaching in primary and secondary schools.It plays irreplaceable role in cultivating students' thinking ability and changing their thinking mode.However,the abstraction of geometry has become difficult content to teach for teachers and to learn for students.Interactive whiteboard as a new teaching medium and a powerful tool for teaching,provides a boarder,more flexible platform.It not only overcomes the drawback of traditional multimedia teaching but also provides a good interaction,thereby injecting new blood to the classroom teaching of mathematics in elementary schools.It can indeed animate the atmosphere of classroom and stimulate students' interest in learning.Therefore,the interaction between people and machines,teachers and students,students and students can be promoted,so as to improve the quality of teaching and learning efficiency.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction which explains the reason of the problems.Literature review includes domestic and foreign research status and summary,the purpose and significance of the research and the definition of related concepts.The study design mainly includes the research process,the choice of research methods,research thought and the theoretical basis of research.The second chapter is a questionnaire survey and a case study of HuaXing primary school,including a survey of the status quo of elementary school students' innovation consciousness and their response to the interactive whiteboard,selecting the classroom cases of “area” and “quardrangle” in the PEP edition of mathematics.The third chapter is the positive aspects and existing problems in the cultivation of students innovativeconsciousness.The fourth chapter is the countermeasure of cultivating students' innovative consciousness in mathematics teaching.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
