The prescientific-conceptions refers to the understanding of things formed by students' perception of daily life phenomena and long-term experience accumulation and discriminative learning before they receive formal education of scientific concepts,which has an important influence on learning."Molecule and Atom" is located in the third unit of "The Mystery of Material Composition" in the ninth grade chemistry volume of the People's Education Press.The study of "Molecule and Atom" makes students' understanding of matter change from macro to micro perspective.It plays an important role in forming the concept of particles for students and is an important theoretical basis for Junior high school students to learn chemistry.Because of the difficulty of molecular atom itself and the influence of other subjects or concepts of daily life,it will affect students' learning of "molecules and atoms".Therefore,it is of great significance to study the preconceptions of molecular atomic learning.On the basis of combing the relevant literature and combining the characteristics of chemistry subject and the content of molecular atom learning in junior middle school,a questionnaire on "Molecular and Atomic Pre-concept" was compiled,and101 students were investigated.The exploratory conclusions were obtained:(1)Students learn that the pre-concept of molecule and atom is real;(2)Some of the pre-concepts of molecule and atom are related to scientific concepts.Consistent,such as the properties of molecules and atoms,some are isomeric,such as there is no difference or connection between molecules and atoms.(3)Almost all students are influenced by the pre-concepts formed by physics and extracurricular reading when they study "molecules and atoms".Based on the exploration conclusion,the teaching design of "molecule and atom" has been completed and the teaching practice has been carried out.The results show that the teaching of molecule and atom based on the concept of molecule and pre-atom is more effective...
