With the development of the art,the composite material in each big exhibition works appeared more and more,it broke the traditional painting techniques,using the intuitive touchable material to fuse to work performance,better convey the author’s emotion,diversification and affects the public’s aesthetic works of art,the traditional aesthetic idea change,but in the elementary school fine arts classroom by hand is for the use of material in the traditional stage,handicraft class attaches great importance to the students is close to life,experience life and to apply the real life,and the most practical operation in handicraft class in art class,very good will learn skills combined with a comprehensive materials to enter the manual class,To enhance their creative thinking,self-choice ability and judgment ability is of great positive significance to students’ life and study as well as their future development.In the course of teaching,while determining the theme,how to correctly and effectively guide the children to understand the material,collect the material,select the material,and effectively apply the material to the classroom is the focus and difficulty of the research.Through teaching practice,this paper USES psychological knowledge,pedagogical knowledge,professional knowledge and other perspectives to explore the research of comprehensive materials in children’s handicraft class,and systematically applies comprehensive materials in handicraft class.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction of this paper,including the research background,purpose,significance,object,method and innovation.The second part is the basic understanding of comprehensive materials.It systematically discusses the characteristics,aesthetic value and language expression of materials,so as to have a clearer understanding of the application scope and expression methods of comprehensive materials.The third part is the application status of comprehensive materials in handicraft class at home and abroad.The fourth part is the implementation strategy of comprehensivematerials in handicraft class,the influencing factors and development principles in the selection of materials.The fifth part is the feasibility and necessity of the application of comprehensive materials in the teaching of handicraft in primary schools,with the main positive significance of stimulating students’ creativity,imagination,practical ability,aesthetic ability,identification ability and teamwork ability.The sixth part is the case analysis of the application of comprehensive materials in the teaching of handicraft in primary schools.
