A Study On MOOC Development Of Process Management

The development of information technology has changed the way people learn.Online learning is a kind of education that delivers teaching content and teaching through the Internet.It is a new method to provide learning resources for learners and has a potential impact on education.In recent years,online education represented by Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC)has developed rapidly.Higher education institutions and other institutions from all over the world have started to build MOOCs.How to build and develop a MOOC has also become a new requirement for educational institutions in the new era.This paper uses literature research method,action research method and content analysis method to conduct research.Firstly,the literature analysis method was used to collect the MOOC development process data proposed by different experts or higher education institutions and summarize the existing seven MOOC development processes.Secondly,it compared and analyzed on the basis of unified coding.Based on the preparation stage,determination stage,course design,course production and course online of MOOC development,it refined the existing MOOC development process and drawed the MOOC development process model.And it applied the model to the development of the first MOOC “Fifteen moments in the Anti-Japanese war”.Then,combined with relevant theories,literature research and interviews with team members involved in MOOC development,it found the shortcomings and defects of the MOOC development process model and then supplemented and improved it to apply it to the second MOOC“Green Talent”.Finally,the MOOC development process improvement model was obtained.It specified the outputs at different stages and added some steps.The MOOC development process in this paper is summarized from the perspective of project management.It can provide guidance for MOOC development team,MOOC development teachers etc to develop a new MOOC,including staffing,time planning,and work scheduling in the preparation stage,determination stage,and course design,course production,and course progression and so on.
