It is a common teaching behavior to solicit individual students' mistakes after exercise class.In view of this kind of situation,the teacher usually tells the correct way of thinking again and again,the teaching form is relatively single,it is difficult for the students to really understand and transfer knowledge.In this case,it is valuable to study how to improve after-school counselling.Self-explanation refers to the activities of students to explain to themselves and try to understand new information.Self-explanation hint is one of the effective methods of self-explanation.With the help of self-explanation,we can help the students to master their knowledge and improve the effect of teaching.Through the literature review,we use Tim to help the students to master their knowledge.Othy J.Nokes proposed two types of self-explanation tips: blank filling(gap-filling)and mental model correction tips to explore the application of self-explanation tips in after-school guidance of senior high school biology,with a view to enriching the application of theory in practice.To provide a reference for the after-school guidance of front-line teachers.This paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first part explains the reasons of the topic,the main research issues,the explanation of the relevant important concepts,and the research contents and methods.The second part of the related theory and self-explanation,after-school guidance on the status of research explained.The third part briefly describes the research process: through the questionnaire survey of the present situation of the exercise class before the research,we find that the problems still exist after the exercise class;After-school tutoring uses blank filling tips from self-explanatory tips(including reason tips for blank filling,blank fill step focus tips)and mental model correction tips by focusing on topics and teacher-student conversations,and on pairs of pairs An example is given to illustrate the practical application of the method,and finally,the influence of self-prompting method on students' use of the same level and different levels of students' achievement in the after-class guidance of senior high school biology exercises is discussed.It was found that there was no significant difference in the scores of students with learning difficulties between the control group and the experimental group(P=0.756>0.05),and there was no significant difference between the after-school counseling and the routine after-school counseling.There was significant difference in the scores of poor students between the control group and the experimental group(P=0.030<0.05),and there was a significant difference between the after-school counseling and the routine after-school tutoring,indicating that self-explanation has great effect on academic achievement.From the point of view of grade progress,the average grade ranking of both the excellent students and the students with learning difficulties has improved.On the other hand,the average improvement of academic excellent students by 6.18% compared with that of the experimental group(450 students)indicates that self-explanation has a positive effect on the academic achievement of the students with learning disabilities and excellent students,and it is more obvious to the high-level students.The fifth part is conclusion.The last part is to discuss and reflect on the problems that should be paid attention to in the process of practice and the parts to be improved.
