In modern life,people often need to use large amounts of data to make reasonable decisions.The mathematics cumculum in the compulsory education stage should cultivate students’ concept of data analysis,which is the necessaryrequirement of education to adapt the modern trend.The main study contents of this paper were as follows:The composition,dimensions and testprepa*ation of data analysis concepts of elementary school students;the data analysis concepts,cultivation strategy;the difference analysis on the main dimension of the data analysis concept of the experimental class and the control class and the sub_dimensions of the data analysis concept of the statistical module and the data analysis concept of the probability moduIe.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Collecting problem situations that students are interested in,and enriching the methods for students to collect data;tracing the source of data,understanding the meaning of data,and cultivating students’ critical analysis abilities;Analyzing the data from the perspective of individual data,statistics and overall changes of data to strengthen the cultivationof reflection habit;guiding students to explain the simple datainference to enhance students’ evaluation consciousness;with many experiments,experiencing the randomness and regularity of data.(2)The sixth grade students’ data analysis concept is divided into two main dimensions of the data analysis concept of the statistical module and the data analysis concept of the probability module,the data analysis concept of the statistical moduleare divided into four sub-dimensions:collecting data,organizing data,understanding data,and interpreting conclusion.(3)The average score of data analysis concept test of the students in the experimental class is 72.04 points,and the average score of the data analysis concept test of students in the control class is 61.38 points.In the dimension of "data analysis concept of statistical module",there are significant differences in data collection,data organization and conclusion interpretation compared with students in experimental class.The mean value of the experimental class is 49.15 points,and the mean value of the control class is 44.28 points.In the dimension of "Thedata analysis concept of the probability module" the experimental class’s score rate is 0.437~0.96,and the control class’s score rate is 0.14~0.94,showing a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. |
