| Flow is a common pattern of experience when people were completely immersed in something.In this model,the perceptual focus of the individual was concentrated and irrelevant senses and ideas were abandoned.At the same time,the loss of the individual’s self-consciousness produced a sense of control over the external environment.The individual’s behavior reflected his or her clear goals and explicit feedback of action.Flow experience can not only give a good feeling to the individual,but also promote the performance of vocabulary memory.The research tries to find out whether the multimedia teaching related to vocabulary educational games inducing flow can promote the performance of vocabulary memory and the flow both in average students and excellent students compared with traditional teaching.Here are the results following: The multimedia teaching can promote the performance of average grades students which cannot get all A level in English study both in polysyllabic words test and the flow effectively.Furthermore,the effect continues some time.Meanwhile,those students of G5 with excellent grades which usually get all A level in English study have no difference both in result of vocabulary memory and the flow under two kinds of teachings.The students in traditional teaching get higher grades in two-syllable words test and monosyllabic words test.It finally turns out that general students can promote their performance of vocabulary memory and the flow through the multimedia teaching with a good organization.And those students with excellent grades can performs better through the traditional teaching. |
