Argument-Driven Inqutry(ADI)is a teaching model that integrates scientific argumentation into science education,which can improve students' scientific inquiry,argumentation and writing competence by means of designing experiment procedure,collecting data,argumentation,writing research reports and so on.The paper that selects ADI of biology experiment teaching in senior high school,studies its teaching achievement and conducts the following research work:First,The paper states the status quo of applied research of ADI at home and abroad,the theoretical basis,and application strategy by making literature research.Second,The paper uses ADI teaching model to design teaching plans on biology experiment class of the first grade of senior high school,which applies it in teaching activities and forms a study case through scaffold guidance,scheme competition and role playing according to the experimental requirements of the biology curriculum standards of senior high school(2017 edition).Third,The paper conducts empirical study of effictiveness of ADI of biology experiment teaching in senior high school through questionnaire and interviewing students.The results show that ADI can improve students' attitude toward biological experiment,enhance their interest,promote their cooperation,and improve their experimental operation ability and scientific argumentation ability.Morever,the results offer experimental basis of effective use of ADI in biology experiment teaching.
