In recent years, the rapid development of entrepreneurial activities is bound to become an important economic growth point of a country or a region. As an important bridge of science and technology transforming into real productivity ultimately, entrepreneurial activities have increasingly become an engine of economic development. In China, the healthy development of entrepreneurial activity is more conducive to decrease the increasing employment pressure. From the point of view of the present, there is a wide disparity about the level of entrepreneurship in the most of the regions of China, and such regional differences do exist. What are the factors which lead to differences in levels of entrepreneurship between different regions?Which factors are leading to hold back or drivie entrepreneurship? What is the spillover effect of these factors on the level of entrepreneurship in the space? Will the size and direction of influence vary due to different geographical locations?Based on previous studies, this paper carries out statistical measurement on the level of regional entrepreneurship in China and conducts spatial econometric analysis on the factors influencing the level of entrepreneurship. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, measuring the entrepreneurship level of 30 provinces and cities and eight comprehensive economic zones in China from 2005 to 2016 respectively,we can see that the entrepreneurship level of most regions in China had improved. But through the data it is also showed significant differences within different regions. The frontier areas are Shanghai,Beijing,Guangdong,Jiangsu and zhejiang, where entrepreneurship level is relatively active.China's coastal areas attach great importance to entrepreneurial activities, and in the northeast region, the middle reaches of the Yellow River, the middle reaches of the Yangtze river and the northwest region lag far behind these regions. The second part is the spatial econometric analysis of factors influencing entrepreneurship level.According to the existing literature, the factors affecting entrepreneurship level were analyzed theoretically, and then the spatial measurement method and model were used for empirical analysis. The results show that the level of regional entrepreneurship in China presents a significant spatial autocorrelation, meanwhile, existing difference, which is,actually not random of the spatial distribution of provincial entrepreneurship in China. The provinces with similar level of regional entrepreneurship present agglomeration, and there are existing mutual dependence and positive spillover in space. The empirical results of the constant parameter spatial econometric model show that the SDM-RE model is determined to be the optimal fitting model.Through spatial econometric model of partial differential effect decomposition of the industrial structure, human capital, technology import and independent innovation, marketization level, level of education and level of economic impact on the business level of spatial spillover effects,it is concluded that:a region of the tertiary industry which output value proportion increasing will promote the uplift of the level of adjacent area of entrepreneurship. The increase of human capital stock in a region will restrain the improvement of entrepreneurship level in the region. The increase of intensity of investment in R&D in one region will restrain the improvement of entrepreneurship level in neighbor regions. The improvement of per capita GDP promotes the improvement of the level of entrepreneurship in the region. The improvement of the economic level of a region will promote the improvement of the level of intraregional entrepreneurship. The increase of marketization level contributes to the improvement of entrepreneurship level between regions.Education increasing helps to improve the level of intraregional entrepreneurship. The empirical results of the variable-parameter spatial econometric model show that the entrepreneurial level of provinces in different geographical locations is affected by the influencing factors.Independent innovation and economic level for each province,a positive role in promoting entrepreneurship level, the independent innovation of northeast China, the eastern region and the eastern coastal area larger efforts, the influence of these areas give full play to the advantage and promote the research and experimental development funds to raise the level of business impact on the northwestern region of the minimum; The economic level has a great promoting effect on the eastern region, the eastern coast and the southern coast. The level of education has a significant inhibitory effect on the level of provincial entrepreneurship, and has a strong influence on the eastern region and some coastal economic developed regions. Finally, through the analysis of the empirical results, the author puts forward some policy suggestions on narrowing the differences of entrepreneurship level among regions in China from seven aspects. It is hoped that the study of this paper can provide theoretical and practical basis for the country to narrow the difference between different regions and improve the level of entrepreneurship in various provinces,so as to enhance the entrepreneurial vitality and promote economic development.
