Peer learning has become the need of the development of The Times, and "peer listening" in class can promote the effective achievement of peer learning.Under the traditional normal classroom, teachers tend to focus on the students who can listen to the teachers' lecture in the classroom.Although recently people have begun to pay attention to listening in class and have noticed that the teachers should listen to the students, which causes the real interaction based on listening, the dialogues in class not only take place between teachers and students, but also among the students that listening and communicating can produce really vital and colorful dialogues. Therefore, this research attempts to carry out "companions listening" in Chinese class in junior high school which can try to find some suitable and effective strategies so that it can improve a way of listening in Chinese class of middle school from "companion listening",enriching the connotation of class listening in order to truly achieve cooperative learning. This study is mainly carried out from the following aspects and draws relevant conclusions:According to questionnaire surveys, teachers' interviews and class observations,we can know the current situation of "peer listening" in Chinese class of Shanghai Xinyuntai middle school. It was found that students have the consciousness of "peer listening" in class, but they lack the continuity and method of "peer listening".Teachers can pay attention to "peer listening" in class. However, there are differences in role positioning, awareness and implementation. In the traditional class teaching and group cooperative learning, the process of "peer listening" is weakened, and peer cooperative learning isn't truly achieved.Based on the analysis about the phenomenon of "peer listening" in Chinese class in Xinyuntai middle school, this study found that the family environment of students, their own personality characteristics and learning basics, teaching methods and class languages are all factors which affect "peer listening".In view of the factors affecting "peer listening" in Chinese class in junior high school, this study attempts to practice the effective strategy of "peer listening",focusing on the guidance and demonstration of teachers in "peer listening".Teachers pay attention to changes of subjective classroom environment, which adjusts tables and chairs and creates a quiet classroom learning atmosphere. They also make students pay attention to the importance of "peer listening" in their thoughts.Students should cultivate correct habits about "peer listening" from the attitudes and methods.Teachers can promote the extension of "peer listening" outside the classroom through peer support groups after class and multi-channel network cooperation.According to a series of practical measures, this study found that teachers could instruct and cultivate students' habits of "peer listening" from environment, thought, behavior and method, which could promote the improvement of the effectiveness of peer listening and facilitate the effective mutual learning among students.
