The researcher selected 32 children(18 males and 14 females)from a large class in a secondary Kindergarten in Chengdu City,Sichuan Province,by convenient sampling method, and used mosaic method to collect data, combined with grounded theory, coded and analyzed children's experience in nature with NVivo 11 puls qualitative analysis software. The results of this study mainly include two aspects:Firstly, children's understanding of nature.Children have different opinions on whether nature is "one" or "many",whether man belongs to nature, and whether man can live in nature. At the same time,a consensus has been reached that the main elements of nature are animals and plants, and the main function is "play".In addition, this part also describes the birth of new life, the origin and continuation of life, the knowledge and experience of the death of life, and shows the life process in children's eyes.Secondly, children's multiple attitudes towards nature. Some children are close to nature, the main reason is that they can get good sensory experience and positive emotional experience in nature, which also reflects the harmonious relationship between children and nature. Some children reject nature because they are afraid of nature, nature can not meet the basic needs of children, obstacles to external conditions in life, and some children prefer to simulate natural elements. In addition, children's attitudes towards nature are contradictory, which mainly manifests in different children's attitudes towards a particular natural element.Even if the attitudes are the same, the reasons given are different, and the external behavior is different. The same children's attitudes towards nature have certain tendencies and instability.Based on the above results, the paper further discusses two aspects:One is to discuss whether children are still close to nature by comparing with other related studies. In children's pro-nature attitudes, this study and related studies have the common characteristics that children pay high attention to natural elements and can get positive emotional experience in nature. The difference lies in that children pay high attention to plants in this study.Children's positive emotional experience in nature is the main reason for children to get close to nature."Interaction" and "watching from afar".They are all children's natural appearances. In terms of children's attitude toward refusing nature, the common point of this study and other studies is that children pay little attention to natural elements and refuse to play in nature. The difference is that children refuse nature for different reasons. In this study, the main reason why children refuse nature is that nature can not meet their basic needs. Finally,by comparison, the researchers believe that children still have a pro-natural tendency. The second is whether children prefer to simulate natural elements.Firstly, the researchers believe that most children can distinguish between natural elements and simulated natural elements.Secondly, the researchers believe that children do not prefer simulated natural elements. The reasons why children like simulated natural elements are closely related to the less natural elements they are exposed to and the influence of adult culture. Finally, this study puts forward suggestions to adults on how to let children return to nature from four aspects: children strive for chances to contact nature, help children eliminate fear of nature, life education and kindergarten environment creation.
