Due to the reality,most school-age children in rural Gansu are sent to rural boarding schools by their parents.Because of the complicated natural and geographical environment in the countryside and the special way of running the boarding school,the children of the boarding school are more or less faced with numerous safety problems.They are a very special group,especially a large number of left-behind children,far from their families at a young age,living in a collective dormitory before they have the full capacity to take care of themselves,and lack of life experience and safety knowledge.The awareness of safety is relatively weak and the ability to prevent it is poor,so they are more vulnerable to unintended injuries from safety problems.In order to raise the awareness and ability of the above-mentioned children to deal with the danger,to prevent and reduce the impact and harm caused by disasters and daily accidents,and to promote the public's attention to children's safety education.Aiming at the individual children in rural boarding school,this paper attempts to adopt the group working mode in social work,to educate the traffic safety knowledge,and to pay attention to swimming safety by taking the type of injury of the children in the boarding school as the starting point.On the theme of fire escape self-rescue method,earthquake disaster prevention knowledge and other daily safety knowledge education,this paper carries out safety prevention education activities for rural boarding school children,and analyzes and reflects on group work.The experience and inadequacy of movement.The results show that the group work is one of the effective ways to deal with the safety problems of children in boarding schools,which is involved in the safety and preventive education activities of children in boarding schools.By participating in this activity,children in rural boarding schools have enhanced self-protection awareness and ability,and can deal with them correctly in the face of simulated accidents,thus enhancing the consciousness and ability of self-protection.The group work carried out in this study has a certain feasibility and promotion,and it has accumulated beneficial experience for social workers to carry out school social work in the future.
