Effect Of Satir Therapy-based Group Counseling On Bully Victimization Adolescents

In recent years,the mental health of adolescents has gradually become a key issue of psychological research in domestic and foreign research field.Campus safety has also become one of the hot topics in the society.Campus bully is a directing injurious act,a phenomenon that individuals are bullied or hurt by one or more mates for a long time.On secondary school campuses,almost all students have experienced such things as being ridiculed,nicknamed,spoken ill of,isolated,rejected,threatened and forced.Compared with normal children,bully victimizations appeared related symptoms of inattention,poor academic performance,truancy,decline of self-esteem and self-confidence,anxiety and depression,headaches,insomnia,and extreme cases of self injury,idioctonia and other acts may happen.Adolescent bully victimization problems mostly caused by interpersonal relationship problems,Satir therapy group counseling can help the bullied establishing a good interpersonal relationship,having a harmonious emotional mood,learning a coincident communication mode,improving their sense of self-worth through the cultivation of communication ability,and ultimately reduce the campus bully problems.At the same time,effective methods and ways of physical and mental health of the youth can be provided for related education department,safety accidents caused by mental health problems can be effectively prevented and reduced,basis and reference for the effectiveness of crisis intervention can be provided,the healthy growth and happiness of young people can be effectively promoted.This study is divided into the following three parts:1?Discuss the characteristics of adolescent bully victimization problems,and its relationship with the adolescent interpersonal relationship,alexithymia and mental health;2?Conduct Satir group counseling intervention on bullied students,evaluate the intervention effect by comparing the difference between the experimental group and the control group before and after intervention.3 ? Put forward specific measures and suggestions on how to improve the adolescent campus bully victimization problems and the mental health of the bullied students.The results of the study are as follows:1?22.10% of the sample were bully victimization adolescents,8.58% were minor bully victimizations,13.52% were severe bully victimizations.54.08% of the sample had interpersonal relationship problems,the adolescent bully victimization and interpersonal communication were significantly positively correlated(r=0.232,P<0.01);22.32% of the samples suffered from alexithymia,the adolescent bully victimization and alexithymia were significantly positively correlated(r=0.197,P<0.01);8.76% of the students had mental health symptoms,the adolescent bully victimization and mental health symptoms were significantly positively correlated(r=0.211,P<0.01);the certainty coefficient(R2)of the regression equation(interpersonal relationship,alexithymia,mental health for bully victimization)was 0.117.2 ? In post-test,total scores and its 2 subscales of bully victimization in experimental group were significantly lower than that in pre-test(t=2.738?1.679?5.827,P<0.05),and lower than that in control group(t=-3.805?-2.056 ?-2.268,P<0.05),total scores and its 2 subscales in the control group were significantly higher than that in pre-test(t=-5.001 ?-1.985 ?-6.265,P<0.01).In addition,the interpersonal relationship,alexithymia and mental health symptom scores of the experimental group(post-test)were significantly lower than the experimental group(pre-test)and the control group(post-test).The conclusion of this study are as follows:1 ? The adolescent interpersonal relationship,alexithymia and mental health symptoms can positively predict adolescent bully victimization;2 ? The results suggest that the Satir therapy-based group counseling can efficiently improve the bully victimization of adolescents,promote their social activities and improve their mental health state.
