Research On Financial Risk Of Private Universities In Anhui

With the process of the Reform and Opening,private colleges have sprung up everywhere.The rapid development of private colleges has promoted the process of higher education from “elite” to “popular”.After decades of development and precipitation,the management system and other aspects of private colleges tend to be standardized and systematized.However,the private colleges are mostly funded by private capital and social organizations rather than the state financial funds,which unlike ordinary public colleges and universities.The expenses of their daily operation and the construction are totally from the investors themselves who also need to bear their own profits and losses.With the complex social changes,the financial management environment of private colleges has undergone tremendous changes,and development process of them is being influenced by the enrollment reduction,single financing channels,as well as blind investment and excessive debt and other factors,so their financial risk management is facing unprecedented challenges.Compared with other provinces,private colleges in Anhui Province are still in their initial stage.Under the new situation,how to scientifically and effectively solve the predicament of financial risk management in private colleges in Anhui Province;and how to make the development of private colleges better,healthier and sustainable,finally form a similar development pattern with public universities.This is not only related to the development of higher education in Anhui Province.But also more related to the implementation of our strategy of invigorating China through science and educationAccording to the background of the development of private colleges in our country,this thesis presents its own research ideas and methods,which by consulting and sorting out the research status of financial risk of private colleges and universities at home and abroad.On the basis of visiting and investigating,this thesis makes an in-depth analysis of the institutional defects,financial management loopholes and major risks in the financial management activities of private colleges in Anhui Province.Combining with the case of college W,this thesis accurately identifies the financial risks existing in colleges W.It uses AHP fuzzy evaluation method to construct the financial risk evaluation system of college W.This thesis comprehensively,objectively and systematically evaluates the financial risk situation of college W.Finally,it provides a set of practical reference system for the financial risk management of private colleges in Anhui Province through the aspects of government and private colleges themselves,and then it would offer an effective guarantee for the sustainable development of private colleges.
