The level of students' professional quality is the most important basis to measure the level of vocational education.Whether secondary vocational education is used as employment education or as a reserve for students to receive higher vocational education,it is very important to cultivate students' professional quality.Attaching importance to the cultivation of professional quality involves not only the development of students' individual professional career,but also the maturity of school-running ideas,the direction and orientation of school-running.Jinzhong is a place where vocational education develops rapidly in Shanxi Province.This topic selected the representative Taigu Vocational School,Pingyao Modern Engineering School,Xiyang County Senior Vocational School,Lingshi County First Vocational Senior High School,Qixian Vocational Senior High School,Shouyang County First Vocational Senior High School and other schools as samples,from the questionnaire analysis,we can see that as the internal and external environment of these schools is concerned,strengthening vocational literacy education has been generally recognized by teachers,students and employers.But from the students' perspective,they have certain limitations on understanding of professional quality;from the aspect of teachers,in the specific teaching practice the breadth and depth of professional quality education remains to be further strengthened;from the perspective of supply and demand,there is a significant difference in the pursuit of professional quality between students and enterprises,which put more emphasis on practical performance such as hard work,dedication and joy.At the same time,there are also problems in professional quality education,such as the low cognition level of vocational education and professional quality education,imperfect curriculum system,unreasonable teacher structure and low learning ability of students.Based on these studies,vocational education should correctly grasp the purpose and orientation of the professional quality education,closely combine learning with the requirements of future work,practice the educational concept of unity of knowledge and action,enhance the vocational school students' professional knowledge and skills and actively cultivate high-quality workforce at the grass-roots level to meet the demand of socialdevelopment.From the social level,to give full play to the common force government,market and society,improve the institutional mechanisms to enhance the service capabilities,enhance the security conditions,to create favorable conditions for the development of vocational education in vocational high schools;from the school level,to explore effective ways to improve professional quality of vocational high school students;from the teacher level,it is necessary to enhance and expand the development space through training;from the student level,it is necessary to determine different professional quality education objectives at different stages.In a word,professional quality education is by no means an overnight effort.It is a long-term,systematic and arduous project.Government,schools,teachers,students and all sectors of society should participate in and work together.
