The report of the 19 th National Congress emphasized that it is prior to improve people’s livelihood by developing education,focusing on speeding up education modernization.Network information technology is one of the most vital elements in progressing education modernization,which leads to the change of the traditional teaching mode,in which teachers make students acquire the knowledge as a main teaching structure,then Flipped Class Mode comes into being as a brand new mode.It comes from America and is good to flipped study with teaching significance,following the rules of the humanistic psychology and pedagogy theories by assigning the previewing tasks to students who watch the recording videos by teachers before class,instead of currently organizing the activities in class,after that all of the students conduct a discussion and then teachers solve some problems.The Flipped Class Mode needs the support from technology,the competence of the teachers and students and the environment between the school and the family.The application of this new mode in the history teaching is the embodiment of the comprehensive concept of the reform of the curriculum,contenting the need to have a good class atmosphere and the necessity of adapting to the requirements of the examination.Based on the analysis of the survey data of nearly 1,400 students from three junior high schools inside the Fangshan County,it is easy to find that,on the one hand,the implementation of the Flipped Class Mode in history class in the junior high school has achieved remarkable results.It has stimulated the students’ willingness to learn history,improved their preparatory effects,and brought students and teachers closer together,which are closely related to technological change,teacher-student cooperation,and education administrative support.On the other hand,this model also traps in the low quality of teaching videos for a long period of time,the poor results of student’ learning before class,and the formalization of cooperation in class.One of the reason why the Flipped Class Mode is trapped in the above-mentioned difficulties is that the level of information technology of historical teachers in these three schools is declining and the comprehensive coaching competence is not high enough.Second,the state of students’ self-regulated learning is not so good,and it is difficult to truly master the materials in the video guide under the Flipped Class Mode.At the same time,the cooperation between family and school is hard to coincide with each other.To change the application dilemma of Flipped Class Mode in history teaching in the junior high school,it could be better to establish a system called “one core,three levels” to cultivate the teachers’ skills,to imply the learning capacity of “ habits changing and tactics generating” teaching,and to create “economic and cultural” family education environment.Through this study,there is a hope to deepen the historical teacher’s understanding of the Flipped Class Mode and to develop students’ history learning competency in order to improve the efficiency of history teaching in the junior high schools. |
