Concept is one of the most basic elements in the cognitive system of various disciplines,and it has always been one of the core issues in the study of psychology in various countries.Scientific concepts and common concept are included in the concept,of which scientific concepts are currently in an important position in the research of international science education.As a part of scientific concept,chemical concept reflects the essential attributes of chemical phenomena and chemical facts,and is also important in the field of chemistry.For the learning of chemical concepts,students will have various problems,especially the understanding of preconceived concepts existing in their minds will affect the systematic learning of chemical concepts.Therefore,chemical concept inventory arises at the historic moment.Teachers can use chemical concept inventory to test students,so as to understand students’ wrong understanding in chemical concept recognition and implement more targeted teaching.In high school chemistry,ion reaction is a concept that is both basic and prone to misunderstandings.The development and utilization of the concept inventory has been mature overseas,and the effect is obvious.Therefore,according to the development and application of the concept inventory to formulate a survey questionnaire of the ionic reaction concept to measure the situation of students’ understanding can guarantee the reliability of the questionnaire,and has a certain value of research.In this study,it’s summarized of the concept of ionic reaction and the problems of students in understanding the concept of ionic reaction through curriculum standards,textbooks and literature collation.Then,formulate a survey questionnaire according to the method of developing concept inventory.The following conclusions can be drawn from testing,revising,retesting and analyzing the questionnaire of ionic reaction concept: First,the difficulty,the degree of distinction and the internal consistency of the ionic reaction concept survey questionnaire meet the requirements,and can be basically fitted with the RASCH model.Second,the White map of the RASCH model,the single dimension and the local independence of the project believe that the questionnaire developed in this study can be applied to test the understanding of the students.Third,students’ overall understanding of the concept of ionic reaction is different.Fourth,students are better at the level of the cognition level than the application level,but there are some problems when they understand specific concepts.On this basis,the following suggestions are given according to the measurement results of the ionic reaction concept: First,in the teaching of the meaning of ionic reaction,the students’ understanding can be strengthened by splitting the key words.Second,pay attention to the concrete steps of the ionic equation writing,guide the students to classify the material.Third,develop the students’ ability of reading to select effective information and organize knowledge related to strengthen the connection with new knowledge.
