With the expansion and reform of higher education,non-government funded higher level education develops more and more rapidly,playing an important role in our country's education system gradually.Under the circumstance of severe competition,private colleges and universities must pay more attention to the construction of teaching staff,so as to survive and develop further.Due to the particularity and complexity of private colleges,it restricted the development of teachers in a great extent and caused the instability.If things go on like this,it could hinder the sustainable development of private colleges and affect the overall development of higher education.Therefore,how to stabilize the teaching body of private colleges and arouse their enthusiasm,has become an urgent and important problem to be solved.By means of studying on the teachers of GS college,making use of the related research of incentive theory and incentive model,combined with the results of interviewing those teachers,the questionnaire covering teaching troops' Demand for stimulation and Incentive Satisfaction has been designed in this paper.By descriptive statistics analysis,variance analysis and other methods after analyzing the result of the questionnaire,it show that there are differences,to some extent,among teachers of different age,education level and titles as per Demand for stimulation and Satisfaction for Incentive.On this basis,finding out the problems existing in the current incentive mechanism of GS college in this paper,such as:low salary welfare treatment,limited personal development,confined working achievement,unreasonable working environment etc.According to its own characteristics and development goals,this college could try to optimize and enhance its current incentive mechanism to ease the problems it faces now,to fully stimulate the working potential of teachers and improve their working enthusiasm,making sure the purpose of coordinated development and common progress between school and teachers.
